I was extremely disappointed with Heather and her lack of professionalism. We spoke earlier in the week and agreed on time and place. When she didn't show up, I called her cell, which went straight to voicemail. I called again, still no answer. Fortunately, and only because she did my makeup for bridal portraits, I knew where she worked. So I called the salon. After an hour, one girl showed up. After another hour, another girl showed up. When it was time for us to leave and get dressed, a third girl showed up to do my makeup. I was an hour late. I missed all of those special pictures with my mom, special family members and bridesmaids. I didn't get to pin corsages with Mom, or see my dad look at me in my wedding dress for the first time. All we were able to do was take the formal shots and hurry off to the church. I can't get that time back. All she had to do was call me. And to top it off, instead of calling to apologize, she sent me an e-mail letting me know that I would not be charged for my makeup.
If you want your makeup person to show up, I suggest you use someone else. I missed out on a lot of special pre-wedding time because of Heather.
