I went to Monika's on the recommendation of a wonderful bridal salon, J'aime, also in Pleasanton. Monika is very knowledgeable and efficient and her shop is very clean and spacious. The bustle she suggested for my dress was beautiful and very flattering.

Although appointments are strongly encouraged (maybe required), Monika let me come early after my bridal salon appointment took less time than expected. My mom was so impressed with Monika's skills that she took her dress in a few days later, and again Monika was also able to accommodate her schedule.

I've never had a bridal gown hemmed or bustled before, so I don't know how Monika's prices compare, but $175 for a bustle and many-layered hem seemed reasonable.

Pat's floral arrangements are just incredible. My bouquets were exactly what I wanted, the centerpieces were beautiful, and the flower-decorated arch was stunning! She is also very nice to deal with and was very flexible with our timing.

Amy's has beautiful Swarovski crystal jewelry. I purchased my necklace at the salon where I bought my dress, and needed matching earrings as well as a necklace for my MOH. I found exactly what I needed at Amy's. She was great about sending samples so I could decide on exactly what colors I wanted, and her service was fast.

Audrey has the art of making everyone look like themselves -- only better! She listened to what I wanted, arrived on time, obvioulsy wants everyone to be happy with their makeup, and is just the kind of calm and happy person a bride wants to start her day with! Like all the other reviews say -- she is a gem!

Wagoneer's Express Carriages was one of the best vendors of our Sonoma wedding. Their carriage was beautiful and the drivers were friendly. Joyce was very responsible, came to look at our venue in advance at no extra charge, and did everything we asked for. Their prices were very reasonable. The carriage was a delightful addition to our day.

Pattie DiLauro is wonderfully organized, responsive, efficient, and a delight to work with. She planned a destination wedding for us in Sonoma and it was flawless. She coordinated well with all the vendors we chose ourselves, made suggestions when we needed them, and handled all the confirmationa and deliveries so that we didn't have to worry about anything. Her fee was very reasonable and worth every penny.

I had a horrible experience at Gesinee's. At first they acted like they were doing me a favor to show me dresses, even though I had an appointment. The saleswoman was helpful in finding flattering styles, but she was very, very high pressure -- she reminded me of a car salesman. I felt bullied and was so glad my mom was there to say that we weren't going to buy a dress without thinking about it overnight. And when I didn't buy a dress at that first appointment, the saleswoman bad-mouthed us to another sales clerk before we were even out the door! (As if THAT would make me come back to buy a dress!) They have a huge selection, but it's not worth the high pressure sales tactics. Thankfully, there are many other (nicer) bridal salons.

What a wonderful bridal salon! They have a great selection of reasonably priced gowns. They made a Sunday appointment for me to try on dresses, when the store was closed -- it was great! They encouraged me to take pictures and take some time to make my decision -- totally low pressure! They had everything I needed -- veil, tiara, and comfortable, affordable shoes. Their communication was great -- they called me after they ordered the dress, when they got a ship date, and when the dress arrived (earlier than expected). They even picked up my dress from the alterations place and steamed it, which saved me from making another trip to Pleasanton (although the drive is well worth it for this kind of service!). A wonderful place!
