Kim is wonderful. Her cakes and shop are beautiful and everything I've tasted is soooo good! I'll go back there for future cakes no doubt! We got a "Champagne Celebration" flavored cake and a Chocolate Mousse cake for My Mom's B-day cake. Prices were great and we have a lot of extra cake! Again, this was an easy vendor to work with. I showed her what I liked and we tried cake and she made it. It was that easy. I was relaxed knowing my cake was in her hands - literally. she delivered it herself! I haven't tried that many, but I'd have to say this Chocolate Pi is one of the best in Tampa - it HAS to be!!

The food and space worked out perfectly for the kind of reception we wanted to have (a party with lots of mingling and music!). We weren't into sit-down dinners, so we did an action station buffet and Tessa did a great job planning the layout for us. We had a large (8 pc.) band and about 100 guests, so there was no assigned seating. Not even seats for everyone. I was so scared about this, but it was perfect. We wasted no time on multiple courses and got straight to the good stuff. The whole main floor was used by our guests for sitting and chatting, lounging, eating, drinking, dancing, and smoking (out on the back porch). It could not have been better for our group! Everyone loved the food and I think the price was reasonable. The only reason I can't give them an "A" is because we had some issues with the rooms. Its' complicated, and in the end, it's fine - but my one piece of advice would be this - If you are having a Saturday wedding and you want to rent the whole hotel (which is best), make sure your OOT guests who want to stay on Friday night too book EARLY!!! If another party comes in and books the whole hotel for Friday, your two-night guests may choose to book at another hotel, which may leave you paying for empty rooms on Saturday, or giving them up to strangers. It was way worth it, and all worked out fine, but we had some issues that I could have done without.

If there is one thing I could change about my wedding - or the last three weeks leading up to it - I would have stressed less about the little things and trusted that it was all in good hands with Georgia. Unfortunately, I am a little too detail oriented and kept worrying that I'd forget to communicate something important and there would be a trainwreck. It's not that I didn't trust my DOC, I just wasn't sure exactly what she was responsible for and what I needed to handle. And, I'm the kind of person who has a tendency to "over-handle". I could have relaxed, and I wish I had a little more, but things were perfect, so I guess I can't complain. Georgia was very professional and got all the details in order and was there exactly when she needed to be or exactly when I needed her. It was nice to have someone taking care of the details on the day of. Everything went smoothly and I had nothing to do but look nice and enjoy the party! I'd definitely recommend her, especially if you are using the Don Vicente!!

My Husband was in charge of music for the most part, so I didn't get to communicate with Joe much, but he seemed very easygoing and really worked with us to find the right ceremony music for us. We didn't want the same old songs, and he had some great suggestions. He sounded amazing and we got lots of compliments from the guests about how it added to our garden setting. He's a pro!

I found her through a friend of a friend and did an E-shoot with her and decided to book her for the wedding. I love her photojournalistic style and knew she would do a fantastic job. The photos we got back are amazing and her turn around time always surprises me! Not only is she great with the camera, but she's great with the editing as well and that's huge! She's fun to work with, was open to all my suggestions of locations and "must-take-photos" and was really excited about my vintage vision for the day. She brought the vision to life in her photos! There are several photographer names that I see/hear all the time in the Tampa Bay area, but I couldn't be happier that I chose Christina!

I met with Kathy months before the wedding (She was suggested by my DOC) and explained my vision and we got preliminary pricing - in detail. There was no pressure to sign a contract or send in a deposit until closer to the wedding date. A few weeks prior I met with her again to update/add some details and that was it. What an easy vendor to work with. The flowers were wonderful and all I did was take some pictures to her and she took care of the rest. I felt like she had it all under control.

The cost is not much, but can add up when you are adding a second venue cost for the reception. Still - well worth it! I had always envisioned a garden wedding and luckily mother nature was in my corner. the Rangers at the part have been wonderful about letting me in to plan, measure, photograph and ask questions throughout the months leading up to the wedding. They take pride in that garden and they do everything in their power to make it perfect for your wedding day. It just felt like a beautiful, friendly and happy place. Plus, it has a ton of history. I only dealt with the Museum Society (Bryan Jeffers) a few times via email mostly, but he was always very responsive and informative. Most of my communication was with the park Rangers. If you want an outdoor space that is not tropical or beachy, I strongly suggest it. It look s like a wonderful place to ahve your reception too if it's the right time of the year.

We had our make up done by Kristina, and we were VERY pleased! I especially loved my makeup as it turned out exactly the way I wanted it to - very fresh! It stayed perfect throughout the entire night. Kristina's prices are very affordable, and she travels to you!

My husband surprised me when he told me he purchased my beautiful ring from Amazon.com. Because I love my e-ring so much and wanted our bands to match, we checked out Amazon.com again for our bands, and found a set that matched perfect! We were so happy with them because they are so beautiful, the price was great, and not only did we get free shipping but received the rings in less than a week!

We also did one of our wedding registries Amazon.com. It was so easy to set-up, and we were very pleased that we were able to see what was purchased and what hadn't been yet. Our guests that purchased from Amazon.com also said that it was very easy too, and that they liked that they could track their package.

There were several complaints from my husband and the guys in dealing with Men's Wearhouse. First, they were not happy with the service they received; they all said that the people they dealt with were totally unprofessional, as if the guys were wasting their time. Second, more than half of the guys had issues with their tuxes, needed to have them altered and exchanged completely. My husband was also charged not once, not twice, but THREE times for his tux, which was VERY stressful to deal with not only the bank but arguing with the GM at Men's Wearhouse. However, in the end the guys looked great in their tuxes!
