Overall I really liked our DJ, Bill. When we first met him, he put us at ease because it was very evident that he had a lot of experience. He had all of our songs down perfect, faded them out at the right time and kept things moving along just as we asked. My only complaint is that he played 2 songs from my “do not play” list, but to be fair, it was a pretty long list, and only one of the songs really annoyed me. I’d recommend him.

I had very mixed feelings when I selected my venue. I really liked the facilities- the outdoor ceremony site, the cute patio for cocktails, and the ballroom with the exposed wood beam ceiling. We didn’t want anything pretentious (like some hotel ballrooms feel). Instead we wanted more of a rustic and quaint feel, and this fit our style. I was nervous though because I hadn’t known anyone who had held an event there and I couldn’t find many reviews.
As it turned out, I really didn’t need to be nervous at all. Everything went off without a hitch and was just the way we asked. The food was good, the service was good, and everything was smooth and professional. They were also very accommodating about changing things or trading package items. Also, they do only one wedding per day, so you have flexibility with time and don’t feel like you’re being rushed through a wedding factory.
Cathy was my contact there and was very straightforward and no nonsense. That might throw some people off, but I appreciated getting direct answers to my questions. I also could tell that she was very organized. If I told her something once, it was in our file the next time I saw her, and everything was exactly how we wanted without me having to repeat myself. The price was very reasonable and I felt I got a lot of value for what I paid. It was the perfect venue for what I wanted and I couldn’t have been happier with everything. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I loved, loved, loved my photographers and my pictures turned out gorgeous! Joe Rumore from Turn Loose the Art and Kristin Cioffi from PictureEverything teamed up for my wedding. The photography was very important to me, so I was willing to invest more in it than other aspects of the wedding, but I also wanted to get the most for my money.
I can be a bit of a control freak and worry about details and where everyone is and if they are doing their job, but with Joe and Kristin I felt totally at ease. I wasn’t worried if they were getting the right shots and pretty much forgot they were even there. I was able to completely lose myself in the day (other than the problems with the flowers).
They were coming from out of town, so I offered to scope out where around the venue I wanted the portraits done, but I ran out of time during the crazy week before the wedding. They ended up finding some great spots for us just as they drove in and took care of everything. While on my honeymoon, I had to check my email for something and already had a notification saying that my gallery was ready.
Other than the portraits, I don’t remember seeing Kristin around the wedding, but after looking at the pictures, she must have been everywhere. Both of them were so nice, Joe even let my husband steal his hat for a dance that resulted in one of my favorite pictures.
I also ended up having the “wedding planner from hell” as my MOH dubbed her, and both Joe and Kristin were very professional in dealing with her, even though she would snap at them and try to tell them what to do. Needless to say, I’m glad they didn’t listen to her, they completely knew what they were doing and didn’t need any direction.
Britney handled most of the album design and print orders for me and could not have made the process easier. She was so nice and was very quick to answer any questions. I was married in October and got my album before Christmas, and it looked great!
I would definitely highly recommend them to anyone for any event.

I cannot say enough good things about my hair and make-up team. On my sister’s recommendation (I hope she’s still patting herself of the back for this one) I went with Calimas Salon & Spa. We had all the BMs and both mothers getting hair & make-up done, so Shannon (owner), Nina, & Tinnaz all came to the hotel where we were getting ready. Since there were so many of us, they waived the travel fee (which was minimal to begin with).
First of all, I loved that they offer different packages for how much you want done, and all were very reasonable. I had seen other people quote $500 for the bride’s hair & make-up without caring if you had a beach wedding and just wanted mascara. So all the girls were able to pick which package they wanted beforehand, and that also helped with planning how much time everyone would take.
All three of them were so nice. If anyone wanted something changed about their look, Shannon and the girls would make small adjustments until it was exactly what the person wanted. In the end, every single one said they were happy with their hair and make-up, which is quite impressive to do for 7 women ranging in ages and styles.
They finished with plenty of time and I never felt rushed or anxious about running late. You want to start that day calm and confident, and they helped me achieve that. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
