Sacred Heart Parish is an absolutely beautiful church. It is huge and can accomodate a large wedding. This is a great church for a traditional catholic wedding. The church secretary Karen is very friendly and nice. She sat down with me and answered all my questions. She introduced me to the pastor and to the liturgist when I met with her. She gave me some examples of wedding programs and wedding vocalists and accompanyists that the church frequently uses. The church is very willing to work with you on lots of aspects of the wedding. They are allowing my future husband and I to write our own vows and also is allowing us to have an interpreter for the ceremony. Sacred Heart is a great church with wonderful people who are very willing to make our wedding the way we want it.

I am very excited to use Captains Limousine Service for my transportation from the ceremony to the reception. I have a larger wedding party and I want to allow my wedding party to have their significant others on the limo. Captains has a stretch hummer that seats 28-30, which is great for people who have larger wedding parties and need more seating. I found that Captains was the only place that I found with this capability. This larger seating capacity also allows me to have my photgrapher on the limo to snap some fun pictures of the wedding party after the ceremony.

Wink Photography is awesome! Angela is great and very professional. She explained everything about her photography and made me feel at ease with all the photography for my wedding. She allowed me to tell her about the types of pictures that I want for the wedding. She was/is very willing to do the traditional type of poses that I want for family, but also is willing to do more fun/photojournalistic type of poses that I think make wedding pictures more memorable. All in all, Wink Photography is great for photography.

JoEllen with Master Touch Flowers is great! I hired her because a friend of mine used her for her wedding and raved about her. She is very personable and friendly. She was very patient with me, as I didn't know exactly what I wanted. She went over my color scheme for the wedding and then asked about the types of flowers I wanted for the wedding. She discussed those flowers with me and gave me some alternative ideas for flowers that would work better for what I was looking for. She looked through her books with me and allowed me to pick the types of bouquets I liked and then customized them to what I wanted. I am having a catholic wedding and she knew about every person that would need to have flowers, which I didn't know about. She was very knowledgable about everything that I would need for my wedding in regards to flowers. And she was very willing to work within my budget. JoEllen was great!

Denise from Elegant By Design was very professional. She went over all the possibilities that she offered with me and gave me advice about what to use and what not to use. She allowed me to look at all her different fabrics for chair coverings and showed me exactly how the chair coverings would look on one of her own chairs. She went over her books with me and showed me different types of ideas for ceiling decor and table decor. She worked with the manger at my reception site to be sure that the decor I wanted at the reception could be done before she promised them to me. She was great!

I chose the Holiday Inn Riverwalk because I felt very at ease with the manager Erin immediately when I met her. She was very professional and very friendly. She took the time to show us the whole hotel including the room where we would have the reception. She also worked with us to give us a space to have cocktail hour because we couldn't get into the ballroom until 6:30pm due to a conference in that rooom during the day. She showed us exactly how the room would be set-up and also told us that we had the use of some items provided by the hotel, including an entranceway and hurricane glasses to be used for centerpieces. The prices for dinner are very resonable and we have the ability to customize meals how we want them. Plus the room does not have a fee for the reception as long as we spend at least $1500 in food. She also told us that we can have late night snacks prepared and served at the reception. Erin was great and I am very happy to be having my reception at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk.

Matt with Fun Factory Entertainment is very professional and a great DJ. He set up an appointment with me the same day I contacted him. He had a slideshow prepared that explained what I would get from him as a DJ. He had lots of examples of weddings he had done in the past and also had testimonials from past clients that he allowed me to read. I did not read one bad testimonial. He also explained the technical details about his business in detail. I felt very at ease when he stated that he had insurance on all his equipment so that if anything happened to his equipment he would be able to have it replaced and make it to my wedding. He also explained that if we decided to have him stay until 1 am he would do so and if we decided that night it was ok with him. He had paperwork sent to me that allowed me to choose the amount of different types of music I would want at the reception. He was very professional and I am excited to work with him.

I decided to go with Artistic Cakes and Cookies because a friend of mine used them for her wedding cake. The minute I walked into their store I felt at ease. The owner Donna went over every detail that I could have/want for my wedding cake. She explained the difference between the fondant and buttercream frosting. She also allowed me to try both types of cakes, which were amazing. She also gave me great advice about what size cake to use and showed me some amazing designs for the cake. I also wanted to get a grooms cake for my fiance and Donna explained how we could do that and even showed me a grooms cake that she was working on. All in all, I would highly recommend Artistic Cakes and Cookies. Donna is very professional and the cake is unbelievable. You won't be disappointed.

I chose Trident Video Productions for my videographer because a friend of mine used them for her wedding and she was very pleased with them. The owner and one of the videographers, Aaron actually came to my house and sat down with me to discuss what I expected from him as a videographer. He went over the contract in detail and explained everything very well. He went over the basic ideas for my wedding video, but also was very willing to customize the video how I wanted it. He answered all of my questions and made me very at ease about the video. He was very professional and I would highly recommend Trident Video Productions for videography.

I bought my wedding dress here at Davids Bridal and althought I love my dress, I was disappointed with the service I received here. The woman who helped us was not totally dedicated to us. She was also helping two other brides at the same time. I spent a lot of time in dresses because she was not available to help me out of them. Also my bridesmaids were looking around for dresses they thought I might like to try on and the woman kept putting those ones back. It seemed like she only allowed me to try on the dresses she picked out. We had to ask a few different times to try on the dresses that I and my bridesmaids picked out and when she finally let me try those dresses on she was upset about it. When I picked out my dress, we found bridesmaids dresses also. The sales woman was also upset because none of my bridesmaids bought their dresses right on the spot. All in all I wish I would have bought the dress I did buy but from a different bridal shop. I was not satisfied with the sales woman that helped us.
