Frank is a talented, thoughtful, creative and professional photographer with whom we felt completely comfortable. When I found his website I knew immediately that we had to book him - even though he is in Hawaii and our wedding was in southern California! Frank was incredibly easy to work with and gave us what we feel are the best wedding photos - we hear it time and time again anyone who sees them.

Claro's delicious, authentic Italian cookies made the perfect favors for our wedding! The management and staff were professional, courteous, and helpful. They were more than happy to answer any questions we had and even gave some free samples. Thank you, Claro's - thanks to you, our favors were a yummy hit!

**Update** - A small claims judge awarded me my requested 50% refund, and Rosebud Cakes paid the award.
Unfortunately, our experience with Rosebud Cakes was disappointing and unprofessional. 'The last word in original cake design' did not live up to their own standards with our wedding cake, which fell apart immediately upon delivery. Within 30 minutes all of the frosting along the sides had come down and lay in a broken mess. The cake was delivered and placed in the proper spot and no one touched or moved the cake: the banquet captain, the coordinator, and all involved at our venue wouldn't even attempt to fix the falling cake as to un-involve themselves from its collapse. The smaller groom's cake turned out fine, but was not technically difficult as it was a flat, one layer cake.
As a result, it stressed out the bridesmaids and delayed our wedding reception. Worse, we have no cake cutting photos, and we never saw the wedding cake that took so much effort to design. Upon bringing the failure to Rosebud's attention, the attitude of Alan, the manager and co-owner, shocked us. He was rude, defensive, made innumerable excuses as to the condition of the cake, and constantly interrupted and spoke over me. This was after I initiated the conversation by stating how pleased we were the with groom's cake. Even after Rosebud reviewed the ruined cake photos and spoke with our florist and other witnesses, who confirmed that the cake was untouched prior to its falling apart, Alan and Elin continued to deny the faulty cake design and refused any refund, calling our witnesses "liars." Imagine giving a bakery $1700 of business and being treated so poorly.
The only compensation they offered was a gift certificate for another cake. However, our wedding and the wedding cake cannot be "redone." Another cake from Rosebud is the last thing we desire! This review would have been much different had Rosebud assumed responsibility and properly resolved the situation to our satisfaction. We are giving 1 out of 5 stars due to the previously mentioned groom's cake.
Photos of the collapsed cake are available for viewing on my bio page. If you're planning a wedding in LA/OC, check out my other reviews. I had some very good experiences with other vendors.
I found most of what I needed to make our escort cards, table name cards, and favors at Michael's. Michael's offers everything needed to pull off a DIY reception, however the variety of products offered could be wider. Some of the favor boxes were a bit expensive, so we opted for cellophane bags instead. It was a relief to know that if something was needed, we would be able to find it at Michael's.

My overall experience with Mon Amie was pleasant. Their staff is friendly and helpful and they will try their hardest to help you find a gown that is meant for you. I love my gown and feel very lucky to have found it - it was the fifth one I tried on!
My one concern for future brides choosing Mon Amie as their vendor is that they will push you to order your dress one size larger than you need. I was told by one of the saleswomen that "Most brides do not lose the weight", thus I was ordered a gown one size larger than what I had fit into at the time of purchase. And sure enough, I did lose the weight and needed a few alterations, which were not cheap. Another saleswoman later remarked that "Actually, most brides lose 15lbs on average." Due to the design of the dress, the alterations needed widened the bust (it was a halter style) a bit too much for my taste. I would not direct anyone away from Mon Amie, but would advise them to purchase with caution and a clear idea of what they want.

The RMS Queen Mary gave us a beautiful wedding! Catering Sales Manager & Coordinator Carrie Stafford and her team went above and beyond to help us create a beautiful day for us and our guests. The historic ship was the perfect location for our ceremony and reception. The outdoor gazebo at sunset was absolutely breathtaking, and up until and during the wedding itself, guests and strangers alike mentioned what a unique and very special location we had chosen. The Queen Mary has a reputation of having an old-fashioned yet timeless, classic and romantic charm and we were so excited to have this on our wedding day.
The food was delicious, and guests raved about everything from the appetizers to the drinks to the entrees. My husband and I were treated with the utmost hospitality and graciousness on our special day. The banquet staff took care of our every need.
Thank you, RMS Queen Mary, for a beautiful wedding day, and lots of gorgeous memories!

Angie runs a smooth, tight business and provided us gorgeous covers and sashes at a phenomenally low cost. We chose Angie with only 2 weeks to go until the wedding, and everything worked out smoothly. She is pleasant, professional and delivered exactly what we wanted. Though a wider selection of colors would have been appreciated, we could not have asked for a better chair cover company. Thank you, Angie! I definitely recommend her to all brides and grooms for their ceremony & reception needs.

There are not enough great things to say about Heavenly Blooms. Our wedding was magical thanks to their gorgeous flowers and keen attention to detail. The manzanita centerpieces were beautiful and beyond all expectations, and our wedding arbor felt like something out of a fairytale! Jaclyne and her assistant Heather, and her staff, created lush bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, and stunning boutoinnieres for the groomsmen. The corsages for the mother's and grandmother's were lovely as well. All of the guests raved about the flowers during and after the wedding. I received so many compliments throughout the night on the flowers and the bridesmaids could not stop talking about their bouquets. The only word I could use to describe my own bridal bouquet is "STUNNING."
Jaclyne worked with me to create truly original and personal decor for our style and our tastes. The wedding arbor for the gazebo was breathtaking - lush, substantial and evoking nothing but the best thoughts of spring and romance. Her setup team did a beautiful job of placing the flowers and all decor to create a truly special surrounding for our guests.
There are not enough thank you's for Heavenly Blooms, by far the absolute best florist in the business.
Any bride would be lucky to have Heavenly Blooms as their wedding florist. I will definitely return to Heavenly Blooms for any floral needs in the future. Thanks again, Jaclyne!
