We decided to book with a travel agent to ease the stress of planning our wedding and honeymoon at the same time. My husband made our honeymoon his project and he did an awesome job. He chose the Riviera Maya and an amazing resort- Secrets Excellence Riviera Maya. The travel agency took care of everything-flawlessly. The price was great, the resort was gorgeous and we had an amazing time. We have booked two vacations with Venture Out since our wedding and have had great experiences with them each time.

We met Tim from Motown Limo at the Palace Bridal Show. He was very pleasant and gave us a great price. We booked them for my bachelorette party and for our wedding day. I rented the party bus for my bachelorette party. The driver for my bachelorette party (Chip) was not good with directions--but he was very helpful and escorted us into each club and bar we went to. We asked for Tim for our wedding day and he was fabulous! He was a riot! We had the Hummer SUV limo and it was perfect!

Initially we didn’t want a Videographer, but after thinking about it more- I decided I did want a video to remember our big day. Harry (of Saving Time Video) came out to our rehearsal to check out the ceremony site. He was very late. Apparently he wasn’t prepared for 4:30pm traffic on a Thursday night and had a huge attitude to show for this. He continued to complain about this all night. On our wedding day, he was better (perhaps because my father gave him better directions). He was on site all day and into the night. Our final video is nothing spectacular. It doesn’t have tons of cool effects or different music. Yes, there are a few parts that I would like edited out. But I do have a video to remember our big day. It’s funny how much you actually miss. I enjoyed being able to see those things.

I contacted numerous rental companies to find an 18” round cake plateau that was my style. Everyone had gaudy ones till I came across Your Event. The plateau was beautiful. We were beyond pleased with Michelle at Your Event Party Rental. She allowed me to pick up the plateau a few days before our wedding and my mother returned it the Monday following our wedding. The prices are fabulous, the service is outstanding and the cake plateau is gorgeous in all of our pictures!

We have been to numerous events at Burton Manor; it’s like a hometown favorite for us. We knew that we wanted to have our reception there. We booked with Alex and he was very helpful! He worked with us to get the most for our money!!!! The food was amazing, the room was set up just to my liking and the staff was wonderful! Cici was our room "captain" for the night and she is outstanding. Make sure you ask for her! Everything ran so smoothly.

Amanda is by far my favorite vendor! From the initial phone conversation I had with her, I knew I HAD to book her. I love photojournalistic style photos and that's what she delivers. She provided consistent contact from the day we booked her until the pictures were in my hands. She was so helpful throughout our entire wedding day; always there to help even if we didn’t know we needed something. She blends in with the guests so well. Her pictures are amazing!!!! We have over 1,200 proofs from our wedding with so many wonderful shots. It was very hard for me to pick my favorites for our album.

My employer uses this company for everything they need invitations for. They are an internet-only company. I checked out the site and found several invitations that I thought were nice. I ordered the samples (that are free). Once I decided on an invitation, the ordering process was simple. I was able to choose all the wording, layouts, colors, etc. The price was right and the invitations were flawless. We were more than happy with this service and heard great things from our guests that received them.

My husband booked our honeymoon and he did a great job when he selected this resort. The entire resort is amazingly beautiful. The rooms are huge and spotless. The restaurants have delicious food and offer a variety of different types of cuisine. The only reason I gave this resort a 4 is because we paid an extra $1,000 to upgrade to the Excellence Club that supposedly got you better service, private cocktail hour, internet access, etc. It was not worth it. Everyone received excellent service and the private cocktail hour was unnecessary.

I went into this store to order our wedding flowers. I dealt with Leah all of the times. My friend used them for her wedding and was pretty happy with their service. I specifically explained what I wanted--a large ball of hot pink roses with 1 dozen white pearled stephanotis-no greens and no ribbons. Simple enough, right? I also order 8 boutonnières and 5 corsages. My mother and fiancé went to pick up the order on the big day. I'm not sure why they didn't check it, but they didn't. I checked the order when it got to me (my fiancé had already taken all of the boys bouts.). My simple bouquet is about 2-dozen red roses with a couple of stephanotis and a ton of greenery. My father called the store back and the owner said to bring it back and they would fix it. When my father and sister (maid of honor) got there, the owner gave them huge attitude. My sister told her she had an unhappy bride who is crying over the bouquet and she needed to fix it. Leah shoved a couple additional roses into the bouquet and pulled out the greenery and stuck in ribbons. Um hello---did you read my order? My sister brought it back to me and we fixed it as best we could. French's has the worst customer service I have ever experienced and obviously can't read orders they write on their own!

As soon as we met Brendan at the Palace Bridal Show, my husband knew he was our DJ. He is amazingly upbeat and obviously loves what he does! We loved Best DJ!! Brendan is a super person with great talent. He kept our dance floor packed all night long and was very in sync with the guests. The price was great, but his personality is what sold us. Brendan has Dj'd a few of our house parties since--what a great guy!!
