I was extremely happy with the way my wedding was at the Berkeley Plaza. Originally I thought they were a little pricy but I knew they had an incredible reputation (keep in mind I had a low budget for this area of Jersey- $60-80 per person for a full reception with open bar). Well they came in just above but included far more than I thought. Their food was like eating at a restaurant, not a banquet hall. The maitre'd, Michael, was very responsive and helpful. I am a bride with a modest invite budget. I searched high and low for the perfect invites at Hallmark, other local stationery stores, and online boutiques. Everything was either too plain, too trendy, or just too old fashioned. I could not find one single invitation that I was gaga over, especially given my price range. I saw Evenstar Paperie on a facebook ad and I have to say at first I was skeptical. I mean, it's an online business- right? Well let me tell you-- these are the single most breathtaking invitations I've ever seen!!! Tessa has an amazing eye for color. She sent me my two designs via e-mail and I asked her to merge parts of both invitations. She got that back to me promptly. Then I got the sample in the mail and it was amazing. She took the image of my reception hall and put it on my response card! She has an amazing selection of papers, fonts, and designs. My very picky fiance wouldn't let me put bows, crystals, buckles or any other items on the invite, but she managed to make a beautiful invitation with my (very hard to find) color palette and the flowers I'll be carrying in my bouquet.

Add to that that when the invites came in the mail she coalated the envelopes to the inner envelopes, and that made it so much easier to stuff them. She worked with my modest budget and I even had room to get my outer & inner envelopes printed. It saved me time and looked so elegant. I give her 5 stars!!!!!
