Alma is indeed fantastic. We found her contact information on this website and from there, everything went as smoothly as we could have imagined. She invited us into her airy apartment downtown to get a sense of what we were like and what we wanted. Starting off with several ceremony templates (from very traditional to more contemporary, from deeply emotional to more relaxed, from very profound to quite humorous), we selected a sort of direction with which we felt comfortable. Over the next few weeks, the ceremony text was refined, being sent back & forth via email, to add all the details we wanted included. She offered several great suggestions that we used, and several others that we didn't. It was a very smooth, simple, pleasant experience.

On the big day, we had some rather large last-minute venue and guest arrival issues, due to highly uncooperative weather. Alma took this all in stride, altering the text and taking into account who would and wouldn't be there. She had memorized the names of all our family members and wedding party participants. Everyone was very pleasantly surprised and it started the ceremony with a very personal touch.

Alma is a fine orator and a true professional without being slick or cute, and the ceremony itself was a big hit among our guests, full of laughter, emotion, reflection and expectation. We truly recommend her to anyone looking for a personal, distinctive and memorable experience.
