Our friend hooked us up with a suite at The Charleston Place. I couldn’t imagine spending our wedding night anywhere else. We arrived very late in the night and they were happy to greet us. Unfortunately, we had to leave very early the next day, as well.

We used Absolutely Charleston to transport our guest from IOP to Folly Beach. It was a long, slow ride. I would recommend using smaller vans instead of 1 big bus. The driver would not go over 30 mph!

Snyder had the best price on tent, table, and chair rentals. They work directly with Stephen Duvall so I did not have to deal with the logistics.

Mama Brown’s BBQ is one of the best BBQ places in Charleston. They were so accommodating and delicious. We had them cater our beach-site rehearsal dinner.

I loved this location! This was the site of our rehearsal dinner. It was the perfect venue to kick off a beach wedding. The simplicity of the interior warrants very little decorations and the beach view and sunset are amazing!

Marni has a great eye and blended in with the crowd very easily. She got some great shots. We made the mistake of not taking advantage of her package deals that offered an album. Our photos and negatives are still sitting in a box in the living room. Definitely pay the extra money for albums for you and your parents!

They opened up their salon especially for my wedding party. They were very up to date on the trends and we all looked great. I brought in some pictures of what I wanted and she duplicated it exactly. This made my morning so much easier.

Beach House rentals are the best option if you are in Charleston prior to the high season. It was really fun to have everyone lodging within a few houses of the wedding venue.

We blocked some rooms at Shem Creek, too. They gave us a great rate and I had an easy cancellation policy. The location is very picturesque.

Laura Kate Whitney from Stephen Duvall recommended this vendor for wholesale flowers. I was able to negotiate a great deal for my peonies and Stephen Duval picked them up on the way to the set-up. It couldn’t have been easier. And, I saved a ton of money!

We hired this DJ to play our Ipod. We like alternative music and made up our own playlist. His only instructions were to read the crowd and either play the fast stuff or the slow stuff. He did a great job and made sure to seek me out to ask what I wanted as the last song of the night. Don’t Stop Believing by Journey……
