Katherine is a very nice person and a talented photographer. She is extremely difficult to get in contact with, however. She is reasonably priced, but we waited 8 months after our wedding before we got our prints back. Also, many of our pictures were dark and far away.

We purchased my engagement ring from Shaw’s and our initial salesperson was great. He listened to us and our budget. Everyone we have dealt with since has been awful. We were looking at wedding bands, and the manager helped us. He didn’t listen to us at all. It was clear all he wanted was to sell us something expensive on that day. The service people aren’t friendly, either. When I have my ring cleaned, they always give me a hard time about doing it. 
 


Kim did an amazing job on my hair. She listened to me when I explained what I wanted. We did a trial run so that we could work together to figure out exactly what to do. She did a great job and in a fairly short amount of time. The salon made us feel right at home.

Our guests had no trouble with the rooms at either hotel block locations. Both places were very easy to work with and gave our guests a good discount on the rooms.

When we met with Gregg, he was very nice and seemed like he would do a great job. For our wedding, he sent his partner who was terrible. They tried to do the couple’s dance, father/daughter, mother/son, bouqet/garter toss all at the same time during the night, which we did not discuss with them at all. They waited until most of our guests had left before doing the dollar dance. And, to top it all off, they starting playing the completely wrong song for my father/daughter dance. Their excuse was that the cd wasn’t labeled. The only reason I would recommend them is because they are cheaper than most. I guess you get what you pay for with them, though.

Our church was beautiful for the wedding. They set up everything for us just the way we wanted it. Everyone was great to work with. They had someone there to run the sound, etc. and clean up after we left. They even video taped the ceremony for us. 
 
 


Village Bowl’s chief executive chef is amazing. He prepares gourmet meals, which is something one would not expect from a bowling alley. The hall was decorated beautifully, the food was awesome, and they were very reasonably price. Plus, they were so easy to work with. 
 


Stephanie Rauch was awesome to work with. She makes her cakes, fillings, and frosting from scratch. It tastes amazing, the best we tasted. My husband raved about it for months. She was also VERY reasonably priced. Stephanie is very creative. I had a picture of some swirls that I really liked. She took that picture and other things that we told her and created the perfect cake. Somehow, she made exactly what we wanted, when we weren’t even sure what that was. 


We got quite a bit of information about different vendors; however, most were out of our price range. The bakeries with displays at this show had terrible cake.
