I was hoping for an outside beach wedding but the rain gods had another idea. The Citadel Beach House is a great ocean front space that isn't really expensive. Everyone was easy to deal with and helpful when we had to move inside. I also liked the site because you already had an indoor location and didn't have to worry about a plan b with tents.

I went to the MAC counter at Belk in Mt Pleasant and had one of there artist create a look which she taught to my maid of honor who was my artist day of. She was really nice when I didn't like something we just tried another color. She even gave me a free cosmetic case and drew out how to put the makeup on.

Esti did a wonderful job on our cake. I was exactly what I wanted and tasted even better. Everyone commented on how beautiful and tasty it was. I hated to cut into it.

Plane Jane a local Charleston band played at the wedding. They did a great job and everyone had fun. They also learned 2 songs for us- our first dance song and one of our favors for no extra cost.

The guys were khaki suits that we rented from Berlin's. My husband and his groomsmen are not formal people so it was nice to have another option than a tuxedo.

They did what they were hired to do. The car was on time and even treked through the flooded parking lot. He took us to our hotel and a really cool car.

Scott Henderson did an excellent job recording my wedding. He is not a "wedding photographer" so it was great to get different shots than from someone who does the same pics at all weddings. My guest commented that they never saw him not shooting. I ended up with over 700 perfect pictures that I have to narrow down for my 60 page album.

I bought my flower girl dress at the Pink Crocodile. The ladies that run this local shop are very sweet and helpful. They helped me find the perfect dress and made sure we ordered the correct size.

Jodi at White was wonderful. Her bubbly personality and knowledge made for a great experience. I found the perfect dress for me.

Lula Kate is a great local designer who creates a variety of dresses for all body types. I picked Lula Kate because my bridesmaids are all differenty shapes and I wanted a dress that woudl flatter them and that they could really wear again. I let them chose the style they liked best. Katherine and Ellen were also great to work with since I had a growing pregnant one and a plus size one.
