They screwed up my husband's tux. But they fixed it in time for the ceremony. I don't mean to sound rude, but the people they have working in their stores are unprofessional, and don't seem to know what they're doing.

I splurged for my wedding and bought some expensive makeup (which I rarely buy). On my wedding day, I did my own makeup. However, when I went to purchase the makeup, I made an appointment. A woman spent an hour and a half finding the perfect shades for me. She put it on for me, and taught me how to do it. It's kind of pricey for makeup, but it's your wedding. What the heck! I recommend it.

Lori was recommended to me by friends and family. She is very popular in our area, and she had done literally every wedding I'd been to in years. She is laid back, and she gets the job done. I highly recommend Lori.

I was pleased with the reception site. The people their are accomodating. I worked across the street from them, and dropped off a box of decorations for them very often. Somehow they always greeted me with a smile, and remembered my name. Absolutely wonderful food!!! Everyone raves about how good the food was at our wedding!!!

They do their business out of their home. I used them because they've done my cousins' weddings. They came highly recommended. I thought their prices were reasonable. They were patient with me. I had no idea what I wanted, and they were kind to me in the long process.

We took a limo to Greek Town for my bacheloretter party. It is so relaxing to drink in the limo, and enjoy the ride knowing no one has to drive. I don't know how much my bridesmaids paid for the stretch hummer. But I know that we had a great time.

Crafts 2000 has a nice collection of simple do it yourself wedding stuff. I purchased a kit to make favors of clear boxes filled with candy, and tied with ribbon. Making your own favors is a lot of work. I don't know if I'd recommend it. After spending another $120 on hershy kisses, I wish I'd just bought some from a catalog. Crafts 2000 has nice wedding stickers for invitations & thank you cards. I also purchased my guest book there for only $15.

I recommend going to smaller bridal shows. This one was too big, and rather intimidating. Good thing about this show was you could look at all the displays & get your own ideas. I filled out lots of contests and gave some vendors my information. I got tons of junk mail!!! I also got tons of courtesy calls!!! Remember these vendors are sales people wanting your contact info!!!

We had a wonderful time. The service there was incredible. I can honestly say i was the best week of my life. We wandered around the resort all week, and did whatever we wanted. We went deep sea fishing. We also went snorkeling and seen a sea turtle. The coral reef is indescribable. The most beautiful colors I've ever seen snorkeling.

I loved my wedding dress, and it was a bonus that it was marked down from $600 to $299. The women who assisted me there were attentive & kind. I was overall satisfied. However, I have 2 comments: I was disappointed at the quality of my bridesmaid dresses; I chose to have my alterations done by a private seamstress. David's Bridal alterations charges are sky high. I highly recommend asking around, and using a seamstress who works out of their home.
