We used Michaels Crafts for our favors.
They were wonderful in helping us find what we need and were reasonable priced. There is also a coupon in the paper every week so we always used that when going there.
They have craft workshops you can use as well.
We got our centerpieces from the clearance isle and then spraypainted them to match our colors.
It was really neat to see it all at the end and say "hey, we made that stuff!"

For our honeymoon we stayed at the Tamarijn - all inclusive. WOW what a vacation!
There's food, snacks and drinks all day long! And if you go there for your honey moon they give you tons of cute and great gifts! We had a sunset dinner for two, a little prize bag with shirts and wine glasses and champagne.....
And all day long are activities and at night there's always some kind of thing!
Aruba was wonderful!!!
Our photographer was awesome!
She was recommended by a friend of mine and charged me a reasonable price. She also gave us the disk of all the pictures!
She was on time and professional and thanks to her I have the pictures that I do.
She was the one who thought of all the combinations and poses!

We had the bachelorette party at Foxwoods! WHAT A GREAT TIME!
We got a couple of rooms and were able to arrange for small platters from the room service!
We also hosted a toy party and had such a blast!
When we weren't in the room we were in the casino and having a great time. We went to Cedars Steak House and the food was amazing!

Our reception was wonderful.
The room was beautiful and the food was wonderful! I will warn that there is no "bridal bathroom" so every time I needed to use the bathroom my bridal party had to lock the door and I had to completely step out of my dress. (the stalls were too small to be accompanied)
Our wedding was in March so it was terribly cold in there as well. They were able to turn up the heat but it was difficult to find someone to ask!
Beware if you have teens at your wedding. I found my 17 year old cousin with a beer that she claimed they sold her.

We wanted the ceremony on site and some people I know had warned me that while the Neighborhood Club of Quincy is georgous, you can hear the kitchen help during your vows if you hold your ceremony in the grand Living Room.
Well, we were only using their smaller room for the ceremony anyway so I never addressed this with the vendor. At the last minute they had a cancellation and allowed us to use the Living Room as well as the Ball Room.
I found out from many of my guests that they could not hear the vows because of the clanking from the kitchen.

I have used Mantis flowers for years for small occasions and other personal flower needs.
I was a little disappointed that I specifically wanted the same flowers used on my bouquet at my bridal party and that is NOT what I got. Since you pick them up that day it was too late to have them fixed. I also had wanted the flower girl (my four year old daughter) to have a bouquet EXACTLY like mine but smaller and instead it just matched the bridal party's.

Great company but had promised a red carpet for exiting the limo and there was no such thing.
The drive never gave us his number so at one point he drove off and it took us over half an hour to track him back down again!
Resonably priced!
You get what you pay for.
This guy only charged us like, $500 for our wedding. It sounded too good to be true. It kind of was.
He was more than willing to download any music we wanted, but his own collection stopped growing somewhere in the 90's.
We gave him very specific instructions and the couple of small details we missed he didn't seem to think for himself.
(IE: We didn't want ANY of the corny, traditional songs - chicken dance, daddy's little girl..... we forgot to tell him no "that's amore" and wouldn't you know he began playing it? My maid of honor was up there so fast I thought it was a track race!)

They're not the only game in town but they weren't a bad choice. I got roped in to the "$99 bridal gown event" Let me warn you - this means there is a rack of about 14 dresses that are marked down to $99. The good news for me was I found my dress on that rack and then paid an additional $200 in alterations.
Here's what I didn't know.
Most of the dresses only ran about $250 anyway. And you'd most likely have to have it altered.
That being said, there's something reassuring about a company that's been doing a great job for so long. They did a terrific job and were really informative for explaining timelines and expectations!
