He bought my rings at JC Penney (engagement) because they are one of the few vendors in the area who deal moissanite, which is what I wanted

Mountz is where I bought my husband’s ring. They spent time with us picking out the right size and metal (he couldn’t decide between tungsten or titanium). He chose tungsten, and she took care to order the correct size to the letter since it can’t be adjusted once forged.
We bought invitations at Michael’s and printed them ourselves. You could not tell the difference from a professional vendor. If you are looking for a way to save money, they have everything from very informal there to very formal, even those with vellum overlay, that you can design and print at home. Lovely, and affordable. They have an entire bridal line now, and we also purchased the unity candle, place cards, and cake topper there.
We purchased ‘military’ limited edition kisses from Hershey Foods Corp. and wrapped them in tulle (my husband is in the Army) to distribute them as favors. It was great—affordable, matched the ‘military’ theme of wedding, and low-maintenance. The kisses stayed fresh and people loved them. They carry limited edition kisses in various ‘subjects’ periodically; you can call the gift shop at Chocolate World to see what they have available at any given time.
Excellent! Beautiful, affordable cake. Martine was wonderful. He was willing to work on a lower budget but didn’t ‘cut corners’ in the design—he is creative enough that if you give him a price, he will give you a beautiful cake. The cake was all white with one black band—very striking—and appliqués that looked like the lacy pattern on my dress. Just lovely. He can do just about any flavor combination. The cake’s taste is a huge improvement over other wedding cakes I have had. Personally, this was my favorite vendor to work with and the favorite result, too. He’s really creative and will most likely work with you to create as ‘individual’ a cake as possible.

I liked David’s for picking out the dress and for the bridesmaid’s dresses; however, my dress was altered only slightly and I was not happy with the result. I had them add a little bit of padding in the bust because it was a strapless gown; when I tried it on, it was actually too tight and actually pushed my bust up too high, which was uncomfortable for me because I had to worry about it all morning. Also, my bridesmaids went to different DB’s to get their dresses, and each one was a different length after alterations. They should have standard lengths across the board.
David’s was extremely helpful with helping me pick out my dress. A wedding consultant spent almost four hours with me, and allowed me to try on as many dresses as I wanted. They were very helpful with the selection of accessories (shoes and veil), as well as very helpful with opinions and suggestions as to which dress best fit my figure.
David’s was very helpful with picking out a plain, simple dress in a modest price range that all my girls could afford. The suggested accessories, though we decided against them, were very creative.
