What a great place! We went to the Ivy House on our wedding night. They knew that we were going to be in late, so they left the door open, and had our name on the door, welcoming us. It was a beautiful room/bath. She asked us what time we wanted breakfast and she had that ready for when we woke up. The breakfast was wonderful. I would highly recommend this place. It’s so peaceful and about 10 miles to Indianapolis.

We ordered our table linens and they have you out the door with the linens within 15 minutes. They are all pressed and ready to go when you get there. And they have an easy drop off system. They are great to work with and have a great variety of colors and fabrics to choose from.

They are set up to have large parties for rehearsals. Their food is delicious. And you can pick a variety of foods to choose from. Our waitress was on it and had the perfect timing of food. It might be a 2 hour dinner, but you don’t feel stuffed. The atmosphere is great and you have your own little room that they can block off.

This place is a great place to have a wedding reception. It has a kitchen, and all place settings for food, so the caterer doesn’t have to supply silverware and china. You can fit a wedding of 200 nicely and have a dance floor. It also has a great balcony, great for smokers and to get fresh air. It has a huge parking lot, easily fits all you guests. Plus you can rent it out for a few hundred more and get the day before to setup. Great price, beautiful place.

Absolutely the coolest photographer in Indianapolis. Him and his wife Jen just have a great eye. They stayed the whole wedding up until the last half hour. They were constantly moved around and they set up a photo booth for funny photos. Everyone was having fun and they got every lasting moment that I wanted. And their turn around is great. We had our photos after we got back from the honeymoon.

Rev. Heady does weddings out of his house or will travel to do your wedding. He is a great guy. He talked with us several times and had a sit down talk to make sure we were ready to get married. If you have the option to pick an officiant where you get married, he is very personable and I would highly recommend him.

We got our tuxes, but it was all crazy at the beginning. If you decide to go to S&K, only talk with the manager (Katie). All the other employees we talked to up until the week that we came to get them had no clue of what was going on. We had out of town guys, it just seemed like no one else had a clue. Once we talked with Katie, we felt more at ease. 


They were great in getting everyone booked, but when it came to the weekend, some people were bumped out of their rooms because baseball teams were in town. It was all very sketchy. I probably wouldn’t use them to block rooms again.

We ordered 200 Champagne glasses with our name and date as favors for our guests. I ordered them one week, and got them the next week, packaged very well. They are super fast, and look great. You would expect cheap glasses while paying $1.50 a glass. They were pretty heavy and looked really nice. You can order a variety of glasses to have something special printed.

5 stars(for caterer) 2 stars(for bartenders):You want a great family owned company, this is it. Judy Sims (daughter of Anna) is absolutely the most friendliest person. There food is absolutely delicious. And amazing pricing for the food. When you go to visit, she will feed you, or send you home with their homemade cookies. The only downfall, was their bartenders. We supplied the alcohol and they supplied the bartenders. They don’ t know how to mix drinks, they did a horrible job and wasted a lot of the alcohol.
