After the introductory call with Allen it was clear that he was the DJ for me! He was very familiar with my reception site which made me very comfortable because he knew where he would set up and the exact equipment he would need. The second reason I liked Allen was because he understood the type of reception I wanted to have. The third reason we chose Allen was because not only was he going to be our DJ, but he was also going to help us with the timliness of events from our ceremony to our reception. For example, after the ceremony, he advised our immediate family to stay for pictures, while he directed our other guests to the reception area.

Another great thing about Allen is that he takes the time to speak with you in detail about music selections and the 'flow' of things during your reception, based on the information you give him.

On the day of the wedding, we were so happy we selected Allen because he played the music at the perfect level (no one had to yell over the table to have a converstaion). During the craziness of the wedding reception when it's easy to forget the little details, he reminded us about visiting tables and greeting guests, and he prepared us for the cake cutting and special photo poses. It was so great to have someone care enough to remind us about all the "little things".
