At first we were confident and happy with our decision to hire DJ for Rent, not only because we felt that we clicked at our meeting, but also because their price was way lower than the other DJ's we met with. We thought we were originally going to have Dave as our DJ, but we ended up with Mike. He is a nice guy, just not who we expected. He did play everything on our song list, didn't play what we requested not be be played, and overall was cool. However, even though people did have fun, the dance floor wasn't packed the entire night.

OMG my husband and I LOVE cheesecake! It is one of our weaknesses to the point where we have a slice several times a week! We didn't want the traditional wedding cake, so we opted to order cheesecake from Mr. Cheesecake! They are so wonderful to work with, and their prices are like what you would pay for for a Publix cake! Each layer of our cake was a different flavor of cheesecake, and our guests loved it as much as we did!

Even though the club is very lovely and was my dream venue for our reception, there were several issues that came up. We ended up doing our first dance after dinner for some reason, as the salads were served before we even entered. Uh! Then there was the AC issue - it felt like it was working one moment, and then broken the next. A few of our guests also complained how rude the servers/attendants were, which we found unacceptable and that very much upset me when I found out (thank goodness this was after the wedding!) On the positive side, the food was good, and we were able to get many wonderful pictures!

Our bouquets were beautiful! However, my bouquet ended up being a little lighter than I wanted. And my bridesmaids bouquets were so much smaller than I thought they were going to be. Our centerpieces were very lovely though, even though we later found out that they were short a centerpiece.

The church was very easy to work with. Our officiant gave a very nice sermon that was very personal (one of our concerns was that our ceremony was going to be impersonal, but Fr. Moretti took that into consideration). Our coordinator was also nice as she took care of our little decorations and flowers, and even helped pin the bountonnieres on the guys and did our processional.

Well, overall we weren't happy with Sacino's. Their service was great and the salespeople were very helpful. However, the tuxes just didn't seem of great quality, and the tuxes that all the guys ended up with there were some flaws/snags/strings. Oh well. We worked to remedy those problems the day of as they were noticed then. I guess you get what you pay for.

Our invitations came in fast and looked wonderful, but we had a couple of issues dealing with them. We first ordered our STD cards online, and they came perfectly with no issues. However, our invitations gave us such a headache. We ordered them from Sacino's, and I can tell you that my mom, my MIL, and husband AND I all reviewed the form before we gave it to the attendant. I mean, we all looked over it to make sure the wording was correct AND that the spelling was correct too. The invitations were then mailed to my mom because she volunteered to assemble everything and send them out for us so that we wouldn't have to bother. By the time we got our invitation, we noticed that not only was my husband's name spelled incorrectly, but so was my parents names! WTF?? They invitations were beautiful, but I wish we would have been there once the invitations came in so that we would have caught the error in the first place.

Agnes is very nice and was very easy to work with. She hemmed and bustled my gown. She also made my veil and the fixed the bodice of my mom's dress. All-in-all, she did a wonderful job, and everything was affordable.
