Johanessa is a very nice woman and the samples she showed us look great but I'm not sure what happened when she photographed our wedding.

Some our of our pictures came out very nice and we are really fortunate that at least a couple of the poses of the two of us came out looking o.k. Unfortunately, many important pictures were either blurry, washed out or the colors looked off.

It took us nearly three months until we got our pictures. I know some photographers take a long time, but this was much longer than she had told us they would take. When I called her one time she said her computer was broken, another time she said she had been sick, finally after the third call she got them to me the next week.

To be fair, we did not pay too much for her....if you look at here website you will see that she's about the cheapest photographer in SoCal. She also drove quite a few miles to our wedding and didn't charge us a travel fee.

The bottom line is that she's a very cheap photographer and we definitely got what we paid for. If I had it to do again, I would pay 2 to 3 times more for photography and cut back with my budget some place else.

UPDATE 1:
I was shocked when I read some of the posts on other boards about Johanessa. I too fell hook, line and sinker for that story she gave about being flown to photograph the wedding in Europe...does anybody know how she got that beautiful album. I so wanted my pictures to look like that and was so disappointed when they didn't.

I'm praying for all those brides that have put deposits down for her...I hope she either refunds your money or makes good on all her promises.

Take a close look at gallery 1 and 2---does anything look familiar?

Did fine with the groomsmen, especially considering that 2 of them were coming in from out of state.

My nephew's pants didn't initially fit, but they had the problem fixed in a couple of hours (the manager drove to another store to exchange the pants). They promptly admitted to misreading the sizes they wrote down and offered without asking to not charge for his tux to make up for my sister's inconvenience.

Awesome place. We had a room near the dolphin lagoon and were awestruck.

It's away from Waikiki which is a + and a - ....beaches are very private and quiet but it's also about a 1/2 drive to any good restaurants (other than the hotel's) or night life.

Our guests had a lot of fun and the DJ was not obnoxious but still did a great time keeping the flow of the evening going.
