No complaints. They were on time, were friendly and had water cooled and waiting for us to take with us for the day. They upgraded us to the stretch Hummer, which was cool! The limo smelled like smoke, but they had some air freshener and addressed it as soon as we brought it to their attention.

Two of the BM’s dresses didn’t fit right (I can’t blame Van Lears since they didn’t go for a fitting after they got measured for their dresses – they don’t live in Ohio) and with two days to go before the wedding, Tina saved the day! She is the tailor I use for my every day stuff and she was amazing. She worked so fast and their dresses fit perfectly when she was done!

Lara and Lucy at Van Lear Bridal are just amazing. The only bummer is that their shop is in Miamisburg, Ohio (where my parents live) and not Orlando. If you are in Ohio, you need to check them out! They were wonderful to work with! I bought my dress from them and they made our bridesmaids dresses and my mom’s dress. I seriously feel like they are part of our family. They made me feel like a princess!

I did my budoir photos with Tabitha, and I was so nervous and Tabitha put me right at ease. It was such a fun, empowering thing to do. Tabitha met with me the day after to look at the pictures and had my book within days so I could give it to Lance before the wedding. Just amazing! He LOVED it and keeps talking about “his book”. I think she’s planning another marathon session – everyone should do them and I highly recommend Tabitha!!

We loved working with Brian! He was highly recommended by our caterer and we knew when we met him that he would do an amazing job for us. He is very organized and had a form that had everything on it and went through everything with us the week of the wedding. He worked very well with David from Levans and they had everything coordinated perfectly. We felt completely confident in him. He had jury duty the week of our wedding (I told him that there was no way he could get sequestered!!!), but was still on top of staying in touch with us and answering my last minute questions. He rocked our wedding – the music was perfect, he kept checking in on us and was just great! He is a Gator fan (as is Lance; I’m an FSU alum) and had a special music ending for us – the Gator chomp and the FSU war chant. It was such a nice surprise and is a great example of how he got to know us and made our wedding “us”. He also did the music for our ceremony and it was perfect. Brian is such a catch – if you haven’t booked your DJ yet, call him! You won’t be disappointed.

I was blown away by our cake. It was simply stunning!! Everyone (vendors and guests) were commenting on the cake and how beautiful it was. And it tasted better than it looked (which is a huge compliment because it looked AMAZING!!). Julie was a pleasure to work with. We didn’t know what we wanted for our cake and she gave us some great ideas. Every time I spoke with her, she asked me about how things were going with the wedding planning. She is such a sweetheart. My only regret is that I didn’t get to see her on wedding day – she deserves a huge hug!!!!

Our flowers turned out great, but she gets a 3 stars because she was rude and caused my one and only melt down. She was late delivering our flowers and when she came, my flowers and the flower girls flowers weren’t what I asked for. I asked for more blue in my bouquet and specifically asked for the flower girl’s basket to have blue hydrangea and not flower petals since she couldn’t throw rose petals. When I brought these things to her attention, she was rude (at first I thought I was just being sensitive, but when our photographer told her to leave, I knew it wasn’t just me). She kept telling me I hadn’t told her these things and made a big deal about having to go all the way to her car to fix them.

She was a superstar! The minute we met her, we booked her. Nikki is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and is so calming to be around. Nikki arrived early to our wedding site and was taking pictures the minute we stepped out of the limo. She did so much more than take pictures – she handled the rude florists (she went to get my flowers so the florist didn’t have to come back into the bridal room), she was on her hands and knees helping Lance’s grandmother’s up when she fell doing the chicken dance (she’s fine…no worries!), and she helped fix my bustle when Lance stepped on my dress and it broke. Seriously, she is simply amazing!! We can’t wait to see our wedding pictures and know that they will be wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. EVERYONE was commenting on how nice she was. My family just loved her (seriously, when your brother comments on how good your photographer is, you know she's good)!

Just amazing! Levans was recommended to us by our friends who used them for their wedding a few years ago. We were constantly impressed by them. Everyone we worked with – Duane, Tonya, David and Mary – were just amazing. There was nothing that they couldn’t do. Duane worked with us big time on the price and we got so much for our money. We had complete confidence in them and we were blown away. David was on the on site manager for our wedding and he was just great. Every time I turned around he was refilling our drinks, checking on us and always had a smile on his face. David was another superstar of our wedding. Levans did an amazing job setting up our reception. When I first saw the room, it brought tears to my eyes because it was better than I ever expected. The food was amazing – we got tons of compliments!!! They packed us a to go box, which was such a nice touch! Our guests kept commenting on how great the food was and how nice the staff was. We would HIGHLY recommend them!!!

If you haven’t booked hair and makeup yet, you need to call Rebecca! She is such a sweetheart and does amazing things with hair! Seriously, I think she is a mind reader. I knew what I wanted for my hair, but didn’t have any pictures. I described it to her and she nailed it. I knew the minute I met her that I wanted to be around her on the morning of the wedding –she is so calming and fun to be around. I LOVED my hair and makeup and it looked as great at the end of the day as it did in the morning. She came with us to Leu Gardens to do last minute touch ups and get my veil on. What a nice touch. She was putting my lipstick on when our florist was rude and man, did Rebecca handle it. The florist was looking to me for instruction and I was so flustered. Rebecca stepped in and told her exactly what to do…..again, she read my mind!!!! Love, love, love her! She was one of the rock stars of our wedding and I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without her! And her prices are SO reasonable.
