We went through LaBananeRouge.com to order our wedding cake topper. We were blown away at how amazingly talented Kristina is! We sent in a few photos of ourselves and described what we wanted. From there Kristina made a masterpiece of exactly what we were looking for. Everyone loved the original cake topper made to look like us, and wanted to know how they could get one! I recommend her to anyone I know getting married – it’s a fun treasure to keep forever, and we are so glad we did it!

PPR was extremely easy to deal with, and they are well seasoned in weddings. We just needed chairs for our ceremony and they were provided at a great price: which included delivery and pick up. They were a few minuets late setting up and I had to call again to confirm delivery, but in the end the chairs were there and set up on time. My experience with the staff was courteous and professional. They did make an effort to meet all our needs, and make sure we were satisfied with the end result.

Overall we were very pleased with our wedding photographer Todd. He was laid back and easy to work with. We were happy with the price he gave us and the quality of work. Todd was willing to work with our vision of the wedding, and take our suggestions on style. Todd has a knack for capturing the right moment, and for making people feel at ease around him. I recommended him to several people I know for wedding/family photos.

Benetz was a great choice for wedding day makeup. They offer a great package for Brides who are looking for a deal! The package included a trial day, bridal portrait, and day of makeup for a really great price. Lauren was my makeup artist and she was wonderful to work with! Lauren was fun and energetic, and really listened to what I wanted. The entire staff was so easy to work with, and willing to make me happy. On the wedding day, I was so happy that I chose Benetz – it was relaxing, fun, and just what I needed! My makeup was phenomenal and I never felt like I was wearing any! I would definitely recommend them to any bride getting married in the upstate!

The stylist Heidi at Day Spa was wonderful. She provided a trial up-do and then a day of style for a fairly reasonable price. I also had her style my maid of honor on the wedding day. I had a schedule conflict with my appointment time, but this was not a problem with the stylist. She worked with me and around my wedding day schedule to make sure I was happy with the end result. I could not have asked for someone more patient and willing to please than Heidi was. I would definitely recommend her to brides who need a little help in the right direction.

The Westin Poinsett was so easy to deal with for hotel block. They have so many weddings on a regular basis that they have wedding booking down to a fine art. We were able to block rooms with out paying a deposit, or anything out of pocket. We were so happy with the wonderful service we received that we booked out wedding night there as well. We were able to offer our guests a discounted rate because of our wedding block, and almost our entire out of town party stayed at this location. The staff (Kristin Lindbloom in particular) was attentive and always available for questions! I would highly recommend them for any guest accommodations.

I booked with Twigs almost immediately after getting engaged. They were my first choice for wedding flowers. After making all the arrangements and paying in full, I waited until the week before the wedding to contact them (just to check in). On the day of the wedding I got a call that my flowers didn’t look fresh and I needed to choose an alternate floral arrangement. The flowers showed up an hour late and the arrangement I chose as alternate were wrong as well. I still chose to give them 3 starts based on the customer service. I was apologized to profusely, and given a full refund. I was also given a discount in the event I chose to purchase flowers from them in the future. I think I was fortunate that flowers were never a big priority to me, had they been, I think it might have been a different story. None of our wedding photos have any flowers since all of our pictures were taken before the ceremony and the flowers came so late.

When we decided on favors we knew we wanted something local, and fresh. We found Bee Well Honey Farms, and fell in love!! Their staff was courteous and eager to help. They special ordered honey jars just so we could have a size that was fun and different. They were on time and very reasonable with their pricing. Of all our wedding details I have to say that this one was hands down the easiest transaction we had. All our guests enjoyed the fresh local honey, and loved the unique idea!!

Mary’s Restaurant was a perfect location for our small intimate wedding. The venue overlooks Falls Park in the historic west end. The food was impeccable and the service was outstanding. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make our day special. From the moment we met the owner (Mary) she made our dream wedding come true. We could not have asked for a more perfect setting!

I absolutely loved the company that made my cake!! Barb (one of the owners) took all my desires and ideas and made them a reality. I had an idea of what I wanted, but I also wanted someone with some creative vision. Fine Frostings put together an amazing wedding cake that was exactly what I wanted and more! On top of being beautiful, the red velvet cake with cream cheese icing they made for us could not have been more delicious!
