Okay, so we argued about our respective-Bachelor/Bachelorette parties as I didn't want the guys taking him to some seedy strip club. I was up for the idea of a dual-party, but he refused. It was my MOH that suggested we all just hop a plane and go out to Vegas and not only party all together, but be able to go off separately for the strippers. So I wasn't really into him going to see strippers, but I liked the idea of us being all together in one location, so we were both sold. We all stayed at the MGM Grand, and I absolutely loved it there!!! This place isn't gross or seedy at all, and when they found out why we were all there, they upgraded our suites and even suggested the "entertainment". We had so much fun in their casino, ate and drank merrily, and when it came time for the entertainment in our separate suites, we had fun!!

We went to Jamaica and stayed at the Grand Lido Resort for our honeymoon. 4 days there was NOT ENOUGH! I would have loved to have stayed a few extra days. They treated us like royalty there, including upgrading our suite. I loved every bite of their food, and my husband even enjoyed the couple's massage we did. It is so beautiful there! It is cliche, I know, but walking on the beach during sunset was amazing. If you are looking at Jamaica for your honeymoon, they'll treat you right at the Grand Lido Resort!! They are very affordable too for what you get! It is a couples-only resort though, so leave the kids at home!

We booked Robert with Black Tie Entertainment, and he was such a blast! He is a true emcee behind the mic, and kept our guests entertained and dancing. He played every song on our list and none of the ones we wanted either (even though he said a few guests requested them). He is a really sweet guy that will keep your party going!

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a cake, but I still wanted our cake to be beautiful and delicious. It was my fiance that suggested we go check out Publix, and we did! I first looked at what they had online, and brought a couple of their pictures with us to the store. The lady there said that she could customize either one (they can do that with any of their cakes), which I was really happy about. We ended up with simple flavors that we loved (chocolate and chocolate and more chocolate with raspberry filling), and didn't spend more than $200!!! VERY HAPPY with that. At our wedding, the cake was very beautiful and I loved how they did our monogram on the middle layer. The cake was absolutely delicious too, and definitely gave us a sugar rush!!

When we met in for our initial meeting with Doreen, I had already seen her in action at my cousin's wedding and I loved their pictures, as well as the ones on her website. I was sold beforehand, honestly, and my fiance knew that. So basically he said it was my decision, so when we met with her I basically sat down and asked where to sign. Doreen is so great and wonderful, and so incredibly talented with an eye for great shots! She was so much fun to have at our wedding and even got out on the dance floor to dance with us! She took the list of pictures that we wanted and delivered every single one!! If you have the chance, book Doreen!

Libby's Flower Shop as recommended by Pink Shell, so I went to meet with them, and was sold right away. I dealt with Muffy, who is really sweet and kind. She understood that I didn't want anything too extravagant or expensive, but that I also didn't want to spend a lot. She took my ideas and the pictures I had, and made a couple of sample mock-ups for me. I was sold on 2 of them, and she said that she could alternate them between the tables and it would not only add depth to the room (one was tall, the other was short), but a variety as well. I loved that idea, and that was exactly what was at our reception. Our bouquets were just as beautiful too!! A couple of the boutonnieres fell apart during the night, but oh well!

We had our ceremony and reception at Pink Shell, and everything was just wonderful! I loved the fact that it was at one venue as I didn't want any of our guests getting lost. Plus, you can't go wrong with the view and the amenities! They treated us great there, and it was so much fun to work with them. In my opinion though, as I was really excited about the food, it was somewhat lacking that night. Some pieces weren't hot enough, and overall the taste wasn't quite there as it was during our tasting. But you can't go wrong with the Pink Shell!

We all headed over to Joseph Thomas bright and early to have our hair done there. It was so much fun having our hair done at the salon as they not only did a great job on all of us, but also because we got to all enjoy mimosas and fruit and breakfast junk! I really loved my hair after my trial, so I knew that scheduling appointments at the salon would be just as fine. It was a little pricey (I did treat the moms and the girls), but because our hair stayed perfect throughout the day, I can't really complain!

My husband and I met through our mothers as they both went to cosmetology school together. They both know how to apply makeup perfectly, so it was their idea to save some monies and have them apply everyone's makeup, which I was happy about. I went to MAC and bought everything there, and got not only a great discount but a lot of cool extras because of the amount of items I purchased. I have always loved MAC, and even got some of my friends to switch over after their MAC makeup was applied.

Who doesn't love the little blue boxes? Christmas morning, I wake up to find one of the blue boxes on my pillow. Thinking it was just my Christmas present, I brought it out to the tree so that I could open it with all the other gifts. Little did I know that my fiance had the whole proposal-scenario worked out to happen when I woke up, but I guess I spoiled that for him. So when I did open it, I was so happy and cried like a big baby!! My e-ring is just so beautiful and I couldn't imagine anything better! My husband told me that he was happy with purchasing the ring from them, that they treated him well and that they gave him a great deal and package with the ring.
