One aspect of the wedding that I didn’t consider until it was almost too late was the decorations. Fortunately, we knew someone who did just that. Through Fun Creations, we got the last touches that made our wedding beautiful. We had beautiful centerpieces, a unity candle, and a card box all centered around our autumn-themed wedding for a fraction of the price of the items in the catalogs I was considering. Sharon even tucked fall-colored leaves into the linens on the chairs- a beautiful surprise that was free of charge.

Although this venue has a rather unusual layout, it actually worked very well for us. They have a large dance floor and can comfortably seat 250 guests. It is also set in a very peaceful and scenic area, with trees in the background as well as a brook and a pond, so it is great for photos. The service is exceptional, and everyone does their job with a smile.

Men’s WearHouse was the best option for the groomsmen because of their color-coordination system with David’s Bridal. All of the men looked very handsome in their tuxedoes. However, their prices seemed rather high for a one-day rental, and although we had seven groomsmen, the person I dealt with continuously tried to convince me that I needed ushers as well. She also tried to force silly things into the package, like socks and silk handkerchiefs, and she also tried to change the colors I wanted my fiancée to be in so that he matched me. Although I don’t regret going with them, it wasn’t the best service I’ve ever had.

Although I was a bit apprehensive about getting my wedding invitations through a web site, it was the best option I had at the time. However, I am so glad that I did. They have so many styles to choose from, and we were able to make invitations that were perfect for our wedding. They have so many options for customization, from the beautiful fonts to the wording to the colors, and we were able to design something that felt like it was uniquely ours. Not only do they make beautiful invitations, but they have something for every budget, and we ended up paying a grand total of $225 for 100 invitations, reception cards, reply cards, and inner and outer envelopes.

A cruise was really the perfect option for our honeymoon. Royal Caribbean is such a great cruise line- they have unbelievable food, great entertainment, and fantastic service. There is always something fun to do, and the ports-of-call are a lot of fun. We chose a Western Caribbean cruise, and we got to see some really beautiful parts of the world, had terrific shopping, and even got to go snorkeling. The best part of it is that almost everything is included, so it is much less expensive that a vacation with similar dining, entertainment, and locations would cost.

Ali Doherty may be young, but she is an artist when it comes to hair. I have very course, curly, thick hair, so I wasn’t sure how well it would behave for my wedding. I found a few photos online of hairstyles that I liked, and Ali was able to combine them into something really beautiful. All day my guests were telling my how pretty my hair looked. Not only was it beautiful, but she also styled it in a way that looked very natural and was easy to keep intact throughout the day. I would recommend her to anyone.

The service at Fenton Flowers & Gifts is incomparable. Because we had a fall wedding, I was concerned that the flowers I wanted would be out of season, but they were able to make me the beautiful, colorful bouquet that I had always wanted. I was able to get my bouquet as well as lilies for my bridesmaids and boutonnieres/corsages for the groom, groomsmen, and the mothers (20 people total) for $350. I received great service and really beautiful flowers that stayed fresh and lasted for several days.

Rob Smith is by far the best DJ I have ever encountered. Because of my experience in the past with mullet-sporting, middle aged men playing horrible rap songs at school dances, I was extremely apprehensive about getting a DJ for my wedding. However, Rob is nothing like that. He is a really cool, nice guy, and he is an excellent emcee as well. Because we had a very family-oriented wedding with a lot of children, we wanted the music to be clean and fun, and he exceeded our expectations in this respect. Our guests raved for weeks about what a fun wedding we had, and it was entirely thanks to this fantastic DJ service.

I was so glad that we went with Sherry’s Catering. Sherry herself has the sweetest, warmest personality, and she is very easy to work with. She has an excellent menu selection, with everything from hors d’oeuvres to desserts. For weeks after our wedding, our guests continued to rave about the fantastic food at the reception. Her services also provided linens, china, and flatware, so everything was coordinated beautifully.

Paula was a friend of my mother’s from work, and I was a bit hesitant about having my cake done by someone just because they were the most convenient option. However, I am so very glad that I went with Paula. Her cakes are not only beautiful, they are delicious! We sat down and sampled her cake, her frosting, and her special fillings that she makes, and we never looked back. She also allowed me to design the cake myself, and she made it even more beautiful than I had imagined. She has an awesome portfolio, and she is very affordable. I would recommend her to anyone.
