We were very happy with our DJ. He was very reasonably priced, came to our home for all the meetings and made the party lots of fun. His selection of music was great and he kept everyone dancing the whole night!

The sanctuary is very nice looking with high ceilings and updated rugs/colors. The walls are white with a nice blue carpet on the floor and matching upholstery on the pews. We had about 200 people attend the ceremony and they were well accommodated, as the sanctuary can hold up to 400 people. It has a center aisle which I prefer.

Jim wore a headset microphone instead of a lapel mic, which was kind of distracting. He also wasn’t that helpful at the rehearsal dinner with organizing things. However, what he said at the ceremony was nice and we had a lot of compliments at our ceremony on how nice it was.

Our experience with this bakery was wonderful. They were very helpful in choosing our cake and let us try all different kinds to find one we liked. The owner is very easy to work with and we had great compliments on our cake—it was delicious!

The service was absolutely terrible. I only used David’s Bridal because I had bridesmaids in different areas of the country, so it was convenient. I was ignored repeatedly when standing at the front counter waiting for service. After asking for a fitting room and being told to “just go back and find one”, I went in a room with my girls and was given an attitude about not asking first! I would not recommend using David’s Bridal (Milford, CT)!

We used rosa's for both my bridal shower caterer and our rehearsal dinner location. Food is delicious, service is fabulous, and their prices are great. They are located in Wallingford, CT. I would highly recommend them!

If you are looking for more expensive vendors in the Fairfield area, it’s a good show to go to. I didn’t book any vendors from there but found Alena’s of Fairfield where I bought my wedding gown (they did the fashion show). Overall it was kind of small but run well.

Alena’s has beautiful gowns and a different selection than many other vendors in the New Haven area. However, they took my measurements over a padded bra and jeans and ended up ordering me a 10 when I am more like a 2/4!! The dress was huge on me when I got it—I could pull it right off. They said I must have lost weight but I know I had only lost about 5lbs. from the fitting to getting the gown. Watch out for this if you go there. Their gowns are gorgeous though.

Barcelona has great food and is a great environment to go out and have a fun night with the girls. They can be a little pricey but it’s a night for celebrating so you don’t mind it so much. You buy smaller than entrée servings and share with others at the table. It’s a lot of fun!

This woman does dress alterations out of her home in West Haven, CT. She does a wonderful job and is very reasonably priced. The shop I ordered my wedding dress from ordered a size much too big after taking measurements over a padded bra and jeans. She made my dress look great and it only cost me $150!
