I wasn't the bride on this occasion, but everyone in the wedding party was affected by several issues with the wedding coordinator at Strawberry Farms, so I feel driven to write this cautionary review.

Don't get me wrong - the venue is BEAUTIFUL and very convenient for our friends and family, as we live in Irvine.

As this site is a resource for brides/grooms planning their unforgettable day, I want to bring up the issues with the wedding coordinator, Stacy, so that you are aware before you sign the agreement!

Stacy appears appropriately energetic and young, but ultimately is unprepared and unprofessional - she showed up late, almost causing a thousand-dollar order of Sprinkles to melt in the July sun - with no apology!

For the amount of money that any couple and their family is budgeting, the wedding coordinator is paid a substantial amount - to work, that is. Just like we spend 40+ a week to make sure our clients are attended to, wedding coordinators have to bend over backwards to assist their brides. This is the rule, not the exception.

There should be a system, like a collection of seating charts and a standard, detailed roll-out to make the experience as painless as it can possibly be.

Stacy may just be green, or in over her head. Not helpful! I felt so bad for the bride and we felt embarrassed and exhausted, as the wedding party.
