For the favors I selected the Godiva truffles. We had them packaged 2 to a box so our guests would have something tasty to take back to their hotel room after the reception. However, I apparently forgot that NV is HOT, and some of them were a bit melty when they were opened. Totally my fault, not Godivas. But they still tasted great!

We got the bridesmaid dresses and the jewelery from NY & Co. in January, right after all the cool New Year's dresses went on sale. The girls loved being able to buy their dresses off the rack & no one needed any alterations. They looked good and felt good, which was really important to me. :-)

The guys all bought black suits from Ralph Lauren. We figured this would be something they could wear again, and all the wives/girlfriends/moms loved the idea of seeing the guys in a new suit. They looked great, and the prices were good, too.

I followed the suggestions of so many Vegas brides before me and did the magnetic save-the-date cards from Vista Print. They were inexpensive, shipped very fast, and looked a lot more 'money' than what I spent. I was very happy with the invites, too!

Yes, I did an Alfred Angelo dress. I was very happy with gown and it saved a small fortune over the higher end designers. The dress was beautiful and I could totally live with the price.

I decided to do little welcome baskets full of goodies for each of our guests. Michael's had great stuff for these and the prices were so good that I could afford to do this for everyone.

Karen is really good at what she does. I'm normally not very comfortable in front of camera, but she calmed me & DH down right away and we actually had fun getting our pictures taken before, during and after the ceremony. Her work looks great and I keep getting compliments from all of my friends that were not able to make it to the wedding. They wish their photographer had the kind of eye that Karen has. :)

Like most brides, I decided to the do trial with Lori before the wedding. Everything came out beautifully! On the wedding day she was on time and everything went exactly as planned. She has a very soft demeanor and every my Mom loved getting her hair & makeup done by Lori. She is quite possibly the very best Vegas has to offer. Book her now!

We weren't technically supposed to have an outside cake for our reception, which took place in our Suite at the hotel. Well, since my Mom picked this up and brought it as a "gift" the hotel was cool with it. And I got my favorite cake that I enjoyed on our scouting trip! I think we really ate every last crumb of the 3 tiers of tasty goodness!

Our first get-away was to the Aladdin Hotel about 3 years before the wedding. Since they changed to Planet Hollywood, we thought it would be fun to get married here. We're so glad we did! The staff was very helpful and we really enjoyed the planning process. They just made it easy!
