Food and service were both disappointing. The restaurant doesn’t seem to be set up to accommodate large parties.

We had a fantastic time at this resort. We chose the all-inclusive package and were very pleased. It is, however, a family-oriented resort, so if you want a couples-only getaway then stay instead at the Royal next door which is part of the same hotel chain. We returned to Cancun for our anniversary and stayed at the Royal and once again they far exceeded our expectations with phenomenal food and service.

Very affordable, but got our names and the wedding party's names wrong when making the introductions. Did not play or have available several of the songs we specifically requested. OK DJ for a party, but NOT for a wedding.

We baked our own cakes and had them decorated by Cathy. The design we chose included several calla lillies, roses and various other flowers. The final product was absolutely gorgeous.

We loved Josue. He was fun to work with, very professional, and his photos were absolutely gorgeous. He was recommended by a friend who went to another wedding that he did. Since then he has also done another friend's wedding and his work is consistently excellent. I would definitely recommend him.

We ordered our flowers online and did the arrangement ourselves. Our roses were ordered from Farms-to-go, greens and fillers from Grower's Box and Orchids from The Flower Exchange. The flowers arrived by FedEx in excellent condition 2 days before the wedding and opened perfectly for our wedding day. If you want do-it-yourself roses I would definitely recommend these sites.

Reverend White did a great job for both the rehearsal and ceremony. His ceremony planning kit and at home marriage course were extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend him.

Ceremony: 4 Stars - The gazebo area was perfect for our ceremony and photos. Everything was arranged as promised.

Reception: 3 Stars - We had our reception in Mandolin's Restaurant on the Radisson property. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has an area surrounded by columns which makes a predesignated dance floor.

Caterer: 3 Stars - The food was good, but the selection listed in their wedding brochure is somewhat limited. My husband's groom's cake was never seen again after we dropped it off with the staff the day before the wedding. When we inquired after the wedding we were informed that it had been cut and served, but none of our guests ever reported eating it.

Wedding Planner: 2 Stars - The hotel provides a 'wedding planner' for any weddings booked there. Apparently they have a very high turnover rate for this position because during the course of our planning from February to August we went through 3 different 'planners'. The final planner, Vicky, while she tried to be helpful, caused more confusion than she was worth. She changed the order of events in our reception without consulting me by informing the DJ to move the first dance to immediately after our entry instead of its original place following dinner. I would recommend getting your own planner if you decide to use this venue.

Wedding Night: 3 Stars - The hotel provided a complimentary room with an attached sitting area/extra room for us to get ready in and then stay the night. The extra room was not quite ready when we arrived and we had to do most of our preparations in the bedroom which left a bit of a mess. The room itself was ok, nothing spectacular.
