I am not a bride, however I was a guest at the Eden by Moonlight event back in September. My friend who is getting married next year, and currently searching for a venue asked me about the Palace since I was recently there.

This was my second year attending this charity event. Last years event was much better then the one in September. I think it is true about the staffing At The Palace, as mentioned in the previous posts. You could barely find a staff member for passed food during the cocktail hour. That was my favorite part of the event. The food stations, bars, etc... It seemed like everything was scaled back. I know the management has changed, so I am sure that has something to do with it.

Maybe The Palace charges extra for the event to be staffed at a certain ratio of servers to guests? If so, not the smartest thing to do in this economy that we are currently in.

I will tell my friend that The Place is a beautiful venue to host her wedding, but definitly ask the right questions before hand, as well as get it in writing.

The staffing which leads to guest satisfaction concearns me, and the previous posts reflect that.
