We honeymooned in St. Augustine because we wanted to be able to not only relax but take in the beautiful and historic sites of Florida without traveling far from home. We definitely saved up to splurge as we stayed at Casa Monica. This hotel is absolutely PHENOMENAL! It is so beautiful, the amenities are amazing, and the staff treated us like royalty. When they found out that it was our wedding, they not only upgraded our suite, but every day they made sure that we were as comfortable as we could be. Plus, the hotel is near a lot of great places to visit!

The cake was beautiful and looked perfect and she is very nice. It also tasted wonderful! The only problem we had was that there was some miscommunication about returning the cake stand and she didn't send any boxes to put extra cake in, which apparently is not normal? I don't know, that all happened after I left the wedding, but the cake looked great and I was happy!

Daniel D'Armond was great to work with and the food was delicious and beautiful! He was the easiest of my vendors to contact and made sure to get me exactly what I wanted (at a very affordable price!) I highly recommend him and his staff, as they were great from our first meeting all the way though the clean up!

We used the Blue Galaxy String trio through Perfect Events Music in Hoover and they were really good! I didn't interact with them much but they were on time (even though 2 of them got lost!) and the music was beautiful. They did exactly what I wanted during the ceremony and it was flawless. They were very friendly and were the perfect touch to the whole day! Also, the lady at Perfect Events, Lisa, was very good to work with, promptly responding to any calls or e-mails. They have a ton of options for musicians and I would definitely use them again!

Our wedding pictures are amazing. Greg Hawkin is so great to work with. He is very laid back and makes you comfortable when he is photographing. His pictures are creative and fun, and the albums he puts together are amazing. He is pretty expensive, but I highly recommend him!!!

I was very happy with Melissa at Park Lane Flowers. She captured my ideas exactly and all of the flowers turned out beatiful. She is very friendly, and worked with me on cost. She even was OK with me doing some of my own flowers, and she offered to arrange a lot of them for a very reasonable fee. Everything was beautiful!!!

The house was BEAUTIFUL. You bring in all of your own vendors, which I liked, and the guys that run it are really nice. Sometimes they can be difficult to get a hold of and I was frustrated that the people I worked with all year to plan the wedding weren't there that weekend, someone I had never met was there instead. This was never mentioned to me until I showed up at the rehearsal. There were a few things I thought were strange along the way, but it was good experience overall. I was disappointed because it rained and we had to move the wedding into the chapel, but it was still beautiful. I think it is one of the best options for a house-style venue in the area and I would recommend it... just be ready to do everything yourself. Because the venue is new you have to bring in almost everything, but at the same time you can make it as unique as you want!

My husband didn't want to rent any suit for his wedding, and we decided that he should just purchase something that he could use again for other special occasions. We were browsing through the JCPenny.com website one day, and we found a nice dark blue suit that I thought he would look good in. We went to our local store, and we ended up getting a different suit, but he looked so great in it! They were really great in helping select the vest, tie and shirt to go with the suit so that it matched our garden theme, and even let us know the style numbers/etc. so that the rest of the guys could order as well. Everyone looked great, and they were happy with the prices!

The dresses for my bridesmaids came from DeRie. I was very happy to find that they had a very simple and short yet sweet dress that I wanted to go with our garden theme. The quality was amazing, and the girls were very happy with the price!

Finding a dress for my wedding was a challenge; I stand at 4'10", so it was difficult to even envision myself in any beautiful dress. I finally found my dress at Brides Maids Galore & More. I selected an incredible yet simple Venue dress, and I was very happy with everything. Not only was the help professional and courteous, but I was very pleased with the price. They have a lot of great dresses there too that we selected the dress for my Mom and Stepmom, as well as for my flower girls. Everything was great!
