My fiance works in the greenhouse part of Kern's and the florists were super to us! They did exactly what I wanted in the colors I wanted and at a fair price. They even let us borrow silk arrangements to put on the alter for the service. I highly recommend them!

I went to Whitehall just to see if they had any wedding bands I would like in my price range. I had pretty much resigned myself to having to buy a plain band, even though I really wanted a diamond band, because of price. Whitehall was having a sale- I got a platinum band with baguette diamonds for almost half off. I love my band because it is what I wanted.

My fiance got my engagement ring from Jared, which is obviously where I got it sized. I called both the Akron and Canton locations to see who could size my ring the quickest, and the Akron location was very rude over the phone. I went to Canton and they were nice to me then, but then later when we went to try and pick out wedding bands, they treated us with contempt because we were asking them to stay in a certain price range. One woman even huffed "You will never find anything nice for that price!" (I didn't think it was that low!) And she was wrong- I did at Whitehall Jewelers.

I went to David's somewhat apprehensively because my friend had such a bad experience. I went during Tuesday afternoon and they were very slow- because of this they helped me a lot and were very nice. I think brides who go Saturday afternoon get a little jostled and do not have as good of an experience. I also really liked that they had petite sizes.

My only real complaint is all the emails I get now!

Rosann's Bridal was having its $99 gown sale and I really wanted to stop in. I worked close by (about 10 minutes away) and it was on my way home so when I saw they closed at 5:00, I thought it would be perfect to stop in on my home (I get out at 4:00). They are a family-owned salon, and kept closing early! I had to stop in three times and make numerous phone calls before I was finally able to say that I wanted to come in at 4:15ish.

Once I got in I was still a little peeved at how long it took me to get into the store, but I told myself I would try on at least one sale dress.

There it was- $299 down from $1150! They had purchased my dress at a trunk show and it is beautiful! They were very kind to me once I got there and even offered to stay open an extra 15 minutes to allow my Mom time to get there.

The prices are definitely good, but I would call ahead and make sure they are going to be open.
