I hired Kim as a “day of” Coordinator. As I planned 98% of my wedding, she took care of all the details on actual big day. I did not have to worry about a thing and that let me enjoy being a bride on my special day. She handled everything from following me around carrying my train, to rounding up the wedding party and being the point of contact to all the vendors. I think she even packed up our getaway car. Kim is heaven-sent!

I was really happy with everything we ordered from vistaprint. Just be sure to google discount coupons. It makes the prices unbeatable.

John and Tammy Nelson are incredible. They truly have a gift for capturing the moment. They did a mixture of both traditional and journalistic shots for us. Our coffee table album turned out perfect! We are thankful that they did such a great job of capturing all the special moments of our wedding day.

Rev John is such an inspiringly sweet man. We choose to meet with him a few times before the wedding. I wouldn’t say it was Marriage counseling, but the meetings opened up the lines of communication and helped us understand our relationship. Plus, he included my stepson in a lot things that helped him understand how we blended to together as a family. He really was a huge part of realizing the meaning behind a wedding.

We decided to print our own invitations which we purchased from Michaels. Included in the package were the invitations, envelopes, response cards, response envelopes and a website that had templates and suggestions on font, content, etc. And they were so reasonably priced! As long as a person is familiar with Microsoft word…printing their own is the way to go.

I have extremely long stick straight hair. And for the wedding, Tricia transformed my hair into these beautiful tundrals that surprisingly lasted all day. She was great to work with and really listened to what I wanted.

We blocked rooms for our out of town guests at Dobson Ranch. After calling around to about 10 hotels in the East Valley, Dobson Ranch had the best prices and was the easiest to work with. Many other hotels had a lot of unrealistic stipulations to do a block reservation. The rooms were great and each guest received a continental hot breakfast.

Jen was great to work with. She was open to our ideas and was never pushy in any way. Her prices were extremely reasonable. My bouquet was so full and beautiful. She did not cut any corners. I am not a flower person but I loved what she did!

DJ: Noah Spirakus

I was really excited for the DJ we choose until our actual reception. The DJ did not play any of the songs that I requested during open dancing but of course he did play a few of the songs that were on the “No play list”. He forgot to do all of the dedications that we set up for our parents and each other. The worst part is that he would play half of a song then switch to another. And to top that, he played 5 Michael Jackson songs in a row saying a guest requested them. I later found out it was a 7 year old. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Val Vista Lakes is gorgeous! We received so many compliments on how beautiful it was. Plus it was great being able to bring in all of own vendors. Janet Marhover was so easy to work with. She was so patient with all my questions and I really appreciated that.
