This was an excellent gift from my father-in-law. They were very professional and efficient. We showed up at midnight and we were brought to a beautiful room. There was champagne and chocolates waiting for us, and my wife loved everything about our room. I think it was an executive suite and not a regular room. It had a small desk, seating area, and also a huge bathroom. We didn’t need to check out before noon. It was one of the nicer hotels that I stayed at.

I would say that this was an almost perfect experience. We were able to book our vacation through a Huffman agent, and we had a wonderful time. Our agent, Andrea, knew a lot about honeymoon packages and getaways, and it was great being able to speak to someone who knew about all these locations and rates and certain amenities. And because she was in the business, she knew which hotels and venues were better than others. I was impressed. The vacation we planned with her was nicer and less expensive than the one we planned on our own.

This was a good company. They were able to give us a good price for a limousine, and then a bus that would transport guests to and from the hotel and the banquet hall on the night of the wedding. What I liked was that they wanted to accommodate our needs, and were willing to negotiate on prices and times, as well as the vehicles. I think this was good, because there are so many limousine companies in the area that they have obviously developed a really good system of customer service.

We made reservations here for the rehearsal dinner because we wanted something smaller and more upscale than what the big wedding party would offer. We picked up the bill, and it averaged about $30 a plate, which included appetizers, the main meal, and dessert and coffee. We didn’t offer to pay for the drinks, though I think that was reasonable. They have good Italian food, nice plates, with seafood options. We had spoken with the chef and had arranged for everyone to have two options so we could have our food faster. It’s really nice inside. I think it might be one of my favorite restaurants in the city.

We had visited many places, and we liked this place, and we also liked the catering team that would be working the reception. We chose the Presidential Banquet Center because it was big, and also because my wife liked how the chandeliers. Kohler’s catering has a good section of the venues for weddings in the area, but they have great service. We were given lots of options for appetizers and entrees, and they also made a wonderful dessert.

The service was fine, nothing special or memorable. I had an appointment, and I remember thinking that it was a slow process because they asked me the same information twice, like when was my wedding. They have a good selection of suits, and I was able to get a really nice suit. I didn’t have a price range in mind, because I knew that my suit would be less than my wife’s wedding dress. They are also very busy on Friday and Saturdays, so I found it better to go on my lunch break in the middle of the week.

I wanted the proposal to be really nice, so I arranged a weekend in Cincinnati. There are two Tiffany & Co stores, but I had made the appointment on Vine street. I proposed, and then we went to the store to look at rings. The store is intimidating because it’s very fancy, and the prices are high, but it’s a nice feeling walking into such a nice store. The staff was great, but I did make an appointment beforehand to make sure they could see us on the same day. I also asked, very nicely, to have a really good salesperson help us. I spoke with two people, and both of them were great. The prices are high, but I found something my wife liked in my price range.

I had no say in where the invitations were coming from, seeing as my wife and mother had control over that aspect. Actually, I was really happy with the decision to order cards online. They came on time, with all the information correct. I also liked that I was able to look at the cards online on my own time than go to a store. It was better than making them ourselves, too. I also liked the cards. I think they were classy looking, and they looked expensive but not silly.

We had two honeymoons, and the first one was the short one that my wife and I booked ourselves. My wife and I are big wine fans, and we have always been interested in going on a wine tour. We decided to make the Marriot our starting point and staying point. We booked our tickets online, and we chose the Marriot because my brother had been there before and it was really nice. I also wanted to be at a nicer hotel, because we would be spending a week there and I didn’t want to save money by staying at somewhere cheap. When we got there we did not have the nicest room, there are nicer rooms closer to the gardens. We asked to have our rooms moved and they did that without problems. I think the staff was good, nice hotel service. You should speak with the doorman if you want information on where to go around town for food and such.
I went to Woodland Barbers, I have been going there since I was 12, and they do a great job. They have several stylists, and they have no problem assigning a more ‘fancy’ stylist to people who want something a bit more trendy and less traditional. The day before my wedding I went for a hair cut and a shave, and I was really happy with the whole thing. The staff and team at Woodland is really nice. It’s cheap, too, but I go back because it’s a nice feeling having the same barber for over twenty years.
