I recently got married at The Palace and it was a flawless process from start to finish. My Sales Manager was knowledgeable and professional. My planner patient and a doll to work with. My Maitre D was on top of his game and was by my side the whole night. Sure, the price is high, but worth every penny. "No" was not in the staff's vocabulary and I genuinely felt at ease the day of my wedding. I was hesitant to book being the 6th one of my close friends to get married there and wanting something different, but I trusted their judgement and being there and seeing that many events go off without a hitch made my decision easy. I can honestly say that this place really is magnificent and a wonderful group of people to work with!
:::UPCOMINGBRIDE::: - If you look at the overall reviews, you'll see that the majority are not good, but great. I cannot imagine based on my experiences and those of my friends what could have possibly gone wrong. The sales manager that booked me no longer works there but the planner is. She was wonderful and PATIENT.You can email me directly if you would like her information. I can also have you talk to any of my friends that have gotten married there. None of them have a single bad thing to say. Just so you're aware, the sales manager sells you the deal. After that, they are no longer involved. The planner takes over from there. In my opinion, that's the most important relationship.
:::Just a few comments-While it is true, there is no communication with the sales manager after the contract, they tell you that from the start, it's no secret. If you didn't feel at ease with that part of it, you should not have booked. Also, while I cannot imagine pleasing everyone, especially brides, any bride who can sit there and actually count how many servers they have on their wedding day, says a bit about the bride herself. Had you spent the time enjoying your wedding instead of counting staff, you may have had a better time. Just an observation. Not in a million years could I imagine spending a moment of that day going around counting how many people were working at my wedding.
UPCOMINGBRIDE-If you are hesitant to booked based on these comments, let The Palace know that. I'm sure they are willing to share plenty of good references. Good Luck where ever you end up.
::I was just stating my experience and opinion, which all of a sudden, if it's a positive one, must mean I work there!? lol. I don't know what happened at your wedding, and I'm sorry that it did ( I really am), however I feel that it may have possibly just been an "off" night, who knows. But to say they do that to everyone is obviously not the case.
