This husband-wife team does AMAZING pictures!! They can get multiple shots of the same moment in time (i.e. the bride walking down the aisle and her groom's reaction). They are very easy to work with, and I hardly noticed them all day!

They had a bridal show at the Nathan Hale Inn at UConn, and although it was their first one, it was great. They had a photographer, DJ (this is where we found ours), cake shops, florists, wedding gown shops, and more! There was not a lot of space in the tent they had, but they made good use of what they had. All of the vendors were very helpful and polite.

Our florist was AMAZING!! I told her what I wanted for flowers and she did it perfectly. I had a vision of white carnations with light blue tips for our centerpieces, and she was able to buy white carnations and spray the tips blue. She was also very good with the bridesmaids flowers. My 2 maids-of-honor had 9 white roses and 3 red roses, and the 2 bridesmaids had 9 white roses, while my bouquet was 18 red roses. She made suggestions of adding ribbon and "lemon leaves" to the bouquets so they would have a little something "extra." She made a beautiful arrangement for the top of the cake, as well as for the head table. She was fairly priced -- she actually did not charge us as much as the flower books suggested. And she was very easy to get in touch with.

We bought our cake-topper at Wal-Mart. It was a nice simple topper to go on the cake along with the flowers from our florist.

We bought the favor boxes from Michael's Craft Store. It held our favors nicely, and we used a small amount of ribbon to tie on the small thank-you tickets we got at Michael's.

We bought invitation kits from Michael's, and they were great! They were not expensive to buy, and it was fun spending time with family to create them. They only had a few design choices, but our theme was "Two Hearts," and that is one of the choices they had.

I ordered mints with customized wrappers for favors, and they came out so nice. People loved them! They were soft peppermints, but they are something people can actually use.

We booked our reception only 4 months before the wedding, but we received a very good deal because it was an afternoon reception. The person I spoke to was SO helpful in helping me plan everything. He knew all the questions to ask to make sure everything was planned out perfectly. The hostess for the day worked hand-in-hand with our DJ and made sure things went smoothly. They set everything up beautifully, then packed all of our things (gifts, champagne flutes, cake knife & server, etc) and helped people load them into the vehicles. The view was BEAUTIFUL behind the head table, because there is a very big window that looks out.

This is a small shop that has used and new dresses, and the new dresses are cheaper here than at the bridal shops they came from. You can just walk in and look around, and the employees will help you with anything you need. It is a small shop, so there are not as many choices, but all the dresses are different. This is where I got mine from and I received so many compliments on it!

Our DJ, Brian, was AMAZING!! He played the songs from our "Requested Songs" list, and did not play any songs that we did not want to hear. He chose additional songs to play based on the songs we listed on our "Requested Songs" list. He was very polite and professional, and really worked hand-in-hand with our reception hostess to make sure the day went smoothly.
