I would have had my wedding reception here, but it’s not that fancy. It’s a lot of fun, though, it’s a very colorful and cheerful place. The staff had set up three tables of ten for our rehearsal dinner, and the room looked beautiful. We couldn’t rent out the place for the whole day, but we did get a block of hours and my friends went in sooner with balloons and other decorations. The menu was great! I spoke with the manager, and we decided that I would pay for shared appetizers, and then the guests would just order what they wanted off the menu. The staff was great. I think this place is a great venue.

I loved having Laura as our wedding photographer. We had lots of beautiful pictures to choose from. There were some surprise images, times that I didn’t even know Laura was there to take the picture, and it’s great having these nice special moments. Overall I would say that she is a professional and you are paying for excellent quality picture.

I would say that half the staff there is very professional and knowledge on the topic of rings and jewelry, and the other half is young and this is more of a part time job. The first time I went we had someone who was wonderful. Her name was Sara and she was great about telling us about the rings and the guarantees and all that. The second time I went with a friend to show her the ring we were thinking of getting, we were greeted by a rather flakey high school student. We smiled and walked away after she couldn’t’ answer three of our questions. In the end we bought the ring from Sara, and we were very happy with what we bought and the service we received.

My brother-in-law was a art major at the University of Dayton, and he made our invitations with supplies that he bought from Mc Callisters Art Supplies. Most art students know the store very well, and they have some amazing things inside that store, tools that professionals in the field would know about. I loved how the invitations turned out. The paper he used was thick and a beautiful shade of saffron, and the prints and details were amazing. I was in love the cards, I suggest everyone find an art student and get them to make your cards.

We had gone on group vacations with houses that we found through topsailvacations.com, and we have never been disappointed. A woman at my mother’s work introduced us to the company, and at least once a year someone in my family books one of their rentals. We booked a house on the beach in NC that had eight bedrooms, and we stayed the first week by ourselves. The second week friends and family members joined us. It is not expensive at all the rent an entire house in NC! I recommend going 100%!

I called up my sister and asked for feedback from the guests that stayed there. She said that most people found the rooms find, although she said she thought the hallways had a musty or smoky smell. She said she could tell right away that they had done some remodeling, and that the style they had chosen was rather boring and typical of a Red Roof Inn. She said that there were lots of different wedding parties staying at the hotel, and that the staff did a good job at trying to make sure everyone stayed happy.

I had the idea of having cinnamon buns for dessert instead of cake. My husband and I are huge fans of the Cinnabon desserts, I think you walk by the store and feel that you are in heaven. The staff and manager at Cinnabon were great at understanding what we wanted, and took our order to make sure that everything would be fresh on the day of. We also bought these really pretty cake trays from Wal-Mart, and we were able to make towers of Cinnabon baked goods. My bridesmaids took lots of time decorating the stands, and I think it looked beautiful. It was also easy to serve, because people just walked over and pulled a mini-cinnabon. Get lots and lots of napkins, because they are super sticky.

I will give Sears 4 stars because the bridesmaids dresses I bought there were beautiful, and they fit the bridesmaids very well. The dresses at Sears are made for real women, meaning that they have space for hips and waists and such. Also, we bought the nicest accessories, matching shoes and scarves and jewelry. I looked around at the other stores, but for the bridesmaids I felt like one-stop shopping at Sears really worked.

Instead of a typical shower, my friends and I decided that we would go to a spa. They chipped in and my present was the “health and happiness” package, which was message and manicure and so many more things. It was wonderful! My friends either got a manicure or a pedicure, and I think almost everyone said that this was the best pedicure they have ever gotten. Also, there is lots of other things for people to do while they are waiting for the bride to be done. I would have felt guilty about the star treatment I was getting, but my friends were able to eat lunch and go swimming.

I have been to nicer bridal stores, where the selection is way nicer and more elaborate, but the thing is that I didn’t want to spend more than $600 on a dress. I found that Bethany’s had a great selection in my price range, because they cater to people in this area. I think the tastes of the dress border on conservative and then really trendy, but I did find a classic looking dress that I loved. I would say that the middle price range is about $500-1600 for one of the new dresses. They have a nice selection of accessories, too.
