This was where we picked up many of the wedding items that completed the wedding, such as the guest book and the seating cards and the boxes for the favors. They have lots of DIY kits, which saves so much time on cutting and trying to glue things together. We spent less than $100 and got everything we needed in one place, in one trip. We also picked up a few items from their ‘on sale section’, which is good to look at first when you first go in the store.

This is a fun place to go for work events or special occasions, but I think it may have been odd to go there for the wedding rehearsal dinner. On the plus side it’s fun and the menu is great, there are beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and the atmosphere is charming, but at the same time you’re dinning in a haunted house. My husband likes to point out that we are very intense people, and it seemed fitting that we have our rehearsal dinner in a secluded restaurant. You need reservations, and we were a group of 10 but they obviously have room to fit bigger groups. I would also suggests maps, because it is on a secluded road and most people thought they were lost trying to get there.

This is a beautiful venue! Our reception was held in the Crabtown Ballroom. We knew right away that we wanted to have the reception at Pearl’s restaurant, mainly because they have amazing sea food, but it was really a question on which facility. They have an amazing roof-top patio, but it’s really for smaller receptions of less than 50 people. We chose the Crabtown Ballroom in the end, and had a big ceremony with friends and family and co-workers. It worked out really well. They take care of all the linens and have great menus to decide between. They are also really great about tips for weddings, like where to set up a guestbook and gift table. The staff was great, too.

Valerie is a local designer who has been making beautiful rings and other pieces of jewelry for years in Oklahoma City. She has won lots of awards and that was how we found out about her. I love her aesthetic, and her use of materials. I would say that the ring she custom made for us looks regal, sort of heavy looking, and very big. We didn’t want a typical diamond, and used another precious stone instead, Citrine, and yellow gold instead of white gold. She drew us several sketches of what the ring could look like based on our suggested, and it ended up being a wonderful process and a beautiful piece of art.

I have recommended RSVP Stationery & More to all my friends who are getting married because of the excellent customer service. I found it much better and easier to go to a store and pick out invitations rather than try to buy cards online. They have a great selection of cards in both high end and low end prices. I choose invitations from the Caspari collection, which are really beautiful cards. It takes 7 days for the cards to arrive once you place the order. We ordered the cards on a Friday and we had them by the following Friday. They also have save the date cards and bridal shower cards, and this was also where we got our thank you cards printed.

This doesn’t stick out in my mind as being a good or bad experience, just a very efficient florist and flower consultant that made sure we had our flowers on our wedding day. They came recommended from a coworker. While I liked the flowers and my bouquets, I think they are about average. We compared prices with other florists, and found that their prices were average, and they offered typical styles and seasonal flowers. There are other florists in the area that offer amazing and unique looking bouquets, but I wasn’t willing to spend hundreds of dollars just on flowers. I would say that the staff at Howards are professional and nice, but nothing spectacular sticks out in my mind.

We had bought wedding favor boxes at another store, but needed to fill them up with something. My mom suggested that we go to Wal-mart and just buy candy. We bought lots of Kisses, maybe about 25 bags, to fill the boxes with. It was much cheaper to get them at Wal-mart than other stores.

I really recommend Ruth to people who love and appreciate good tasting desserts. She was such a nice person during our consultation and during our follow up calls. She’s professional but really personable as well. We went in for a tasting and consultation, and she’s great about helping to determine how much cake we needed for the size of our party, and helped us pick a flavor and style of cake to fit our budget. The price was both affordable and the cake looked great. It tasted amazing.
I think the show was very helpful, because it gave me and my best friend lots of wedding planning ideas, and details that we needed to consider for the wedding. I basically loved looking at all the dresses and flowers and trying all the free food. It really put me in the wedding mood. I only contacted one vendor afterwards, Enchanted Evening, but this was where I got my wedding dress. I saw a style I really liked at the show, and made an appointment to see it the following week.

They have beautiful dresses here. I found out about Enchanted Evening because I went to the Bridal Show and saw dresses there that I really liked. They staff has great energy, and they remembered me and my name from the show which was really nice. I think they have a great store and a great selection of dresses, but there was really only one dress I loved. The staff was great about holding the dress for me for a week so that my mother could see it the following week. They also have bridesmaids dresses and other formal dresses here, but we only bought my wedding dress here.
