Green Gables is a WONDERFUL venue for both ceremony and reception. I held my ceremony out on their patio overlooking the lake and the reception inside the restaurant. Their main banquet room has a dance floor and is absolutely gorgeous for anyone interested in a rustic, floral venue. Teresa (proprietor of Green Gables) is extremely organized and made sure that everything went off with out a hitch. She's always just a phone call away and she's so reasonable. The day of the rehearsal, Teresa had everything lined up and ready and led us through the motion of the following day so seamlessly that I had nothing to be nervous about.

The food is amazing and is wonderfully presented. We had a steak strip and potatoes main course and not only did it taste amazing, but it looked like it was prepared by world class chefs.

Maybe the most considerate thing Green Gables does for us is that they prepare, arrange and decorate with flowers grown right on the grounds there for the reception. So all you need to provide on your own is flowers for the reception and your own bouquets etc. It's included in the cost and you can even have this as your centerpiece, which I did. It takes such a load off of the planning .

This is a wonderful venue. I'd reselect it any day!
