The choice of tuxedos were really great. The men's ties matched the girls dresses very well (the girls' dresses were a hard color to match) but they looked great. My husband chose a grey accent that looked very classy on him. The only complaint I heard from the men was that the shoes were too tight, so maybe we shouldn't have rented the shoes, but other than that, no compliants at all!

First of all, the food was incredible. They set us up in a private room. The staff was courteous and my husband and I felt so special. His father hosted our rehearsal dinner (to about 40 people) and it was such a great place to mingle and meet family members I hadn't met yet. We had buffet-style food and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They shared our enthusiasm and wedding excitement. I'd heard good things about this restaurant before we went, and my expectations were raised becaue of the experience we had. A beautiful place with exceptional food.

I loved it, had a great time. But know that Jaques is a drag queen club. It's very fun - great place for girls to go & have a great time. All my girlfriends and I were laughing and dancing along with the stage show girls. Our waitress/waiter was so funny and fabulous, it was such a fun time. Again, if you're uncomfortable in this atmosphere, you might love it, but if you are, it's a great time to hang with the girls!

If you're in shock - it's amazing but true! BJ's sells wholesale jewelry. My husband purchased my engagement ring there - which I love, and it's worth more than he paid for it. We went to every single jewelry store in existence in Natick and Framingham. When I went back to BJ's, I found a beautiful diamond wedding ring that not only was what I wanted but it complimented my engagement ring, too. I've received so many compliments on it. Furthermore, I wanted yellow gold and they were out of stock. The manager at BJ's ordered the yellow gold one that I wanted and it arrived just in time before our wedding. It is true it's hard to get help in the jewelry area, but once you find someone to help you out, it's totally worth it!

I was lucky - I found the dress right off the rack and I didn't need any alterations, it fit perfectly. Shocker, right?
The girl who helped me was amazing - they must cherish her because I told her what I wanted and she came back with three dresses to try on. The one I bought was the second one. My maid of honor accompanied me. We found my wedding dress and she helped choose the bridal gowns and we did this in less than an hour. I previously had a maid of honor dress altered there, which I wasn't very happy about. They seem to wait until the last minute to do alterations. Buying dresses, I think they are great, and if you can find someone there who truly knows what they are doing like I did, you're in luck! But I would suggest going to a tailor for alterations. The last thing you want to do is wait for the last minute to have your dress altered - you need to allow a timely manner and especially with a wedding, if you're the bride, you want to allow time for mistakes to be corrected.

After a crazy week of wedding stuff (famiily & friends from out of town, parties to go to, etc), my husband and I wanted a very low-key Honeymoon, and that's what we got at the White House in Wilmington, VT. It was the perfect getaway, and such a romantic setting in VT. If you get married in the winter, you will be able to take advantage of the snow & skiing. We got married in March, so it was pretty quiet, but there are very quaint New England shops you can go to, and we spent most of our time relaxing & checking out the art galleries in town. The food at the White House is incredible! The staff is very friendly. We rented a cottage and you get breakfast every morning you are there. The dinners - we cannot say enough about the food! - was nothing short of perfect. Their food would rival even five star restaurants in Manhattan. It's that good. If you're looking for a little peace & quiet for your Honeymoon, or just a great weekend getaway, the White House in VT is one of our favorites!

This is an amazing local Boston-based band. If you've never seen them live, go check them out. Their music is perfect - younger crowds will love their energy and the older crowds will love the music! Unfortunately, their lead singer Dave has left - we had Dave for our wedding and he was amazing. They are a 9-peice band and they specialize in stax soul music from the 60's - Otis Redding, Carla Thomas, James Brown -style. They get everyone up and dancing. People who have talked about our wedding all have been so impressed with the band that we hired. My husband had been a fan of theirs before we got married and one of his "fantasies" was to have them perform at our wedding, and it was truly an amazing night! Hire the Chicken Slacks and you will be ready to dance the night away!

Wedding photographers are pricy - you can't get around that. However our photographer (his name was Michael and he wore glasses) was very polite, courteous and shot great photographs for us. They will take pictures of whatever you want - they are very accomodating, and they were right on time! I highly reccomend them.

Claudio Elias at Mega Video in Marlborough, MA put together a wedding video that was not only fun to watch, but looked incredibly professional. You didn't feel like you were watching a 'wedding video'. It was incredibly impressive. The quality of work was amazing, and there was so much emotion that was caputred with his camerawork. The editing with the music and special effects were not cheesy, but very classy and brought a smile to our faces. Even people who were at the wedding were impressed by the video because you saw things in it that you didn't know were happening. I highly recommend him for your MA wedding!

The package that Angelica's offers is classy, affordable and their staff is professional and amazing! Our package included the limo, invitations, place cards, the cake, centerpeices on the table, and the food was incredible. It is obvious they have years of experience with weddings. We paid extra to have our ceremony there. They have a beautiful room downstairs for photographs. Our wedding was perfect because Angelica's package took a lot of the strain off doing all the extras that they had included in their package. If you're looking for a great wedding package that won't break your budget, go with Angelica's. They made our wedding absolutely perfect!
