I didn't want a large ornate cake, but I knew that I wanted something for our guests. We ended up ordering a tower of cupcakes, which was just so fun and delightful for our guests! How can you go wrong with cupcakes? Plus, how can you go wrong with anything from the Publix Bakery?

Our planner recommended that we visit Connie Duglin one weekend to see about our linens, and I was very happy with their products and their service. We rented our linens (table linens, napkins, chair covers, bows) from Connie Duglin, and we got a great deal worked out with delivery and set-up. Our planner also said that she didn't have to worry about steaming out any wrinkles!

I was part of the UCF music program, so I knew that they had ensembles that performed on the side. I asked the quartet to play for our wedding, and was very pleased to hear that they did such a wonderful job! They were very affordable, and our guests appreciated the live factor of the beautiful music!

I would have loved to have had a professional florist take care of our flowers, but budget cuts just didn't allow for this. So our planner recommended that we get our flowers wholesale and that she would help us with putting everything together. We bought our flowers from BJ's Wholesale Club (she has membership there), and I was very pleased with how beautiful the roses were! I had them ordered and delivered 3 days beforehand so that they would stay beautiful for the wedding, and they really lasted! For all the flowers I bought, we only spent with taxes and delivery $400!

I knew that I wanted both our Ceremony and Reception to take place at one location, and we both agreed on Leu Gardens. It is so beautiful there, but you definitely want to consider the month you are getting married if you are looking into Leu Gardens. We kept our anniversary date for our wedding date (August), so it was definitely HOT for our Ceremony. Thank goodness it lasted only 20 minutes long. The grounds are so beautiful, and I was happy that there are lots of beautiful areas there to have photos taken. They have a lot of STRICT rules there, so make sure you read and understand them all!

I LOVE my engagement ring! I was so surprised when my husband told me he bought it online from Amazon.com, so we looked back online to see what they had for wedding bands. My one concern was that it had to match my engagement ring, and I was very happy to find a set by the same manufacturer that fit beautifully with it. I saw it online, and told him that I wanted to see it locally first to make sure, as well as to price it out. I saw it at a couple of stores, and the bands were beautiful, but much more expensive than online. So we went back to Amazon.com and ordered our bands from there! We not only saved money, but got a guarantee and great service package along with it! We have ordered several times from Amazon.com (books, DVDs, etc.), and were once again very happy with our purchase from them!

Okay, so we originally were going to order actual invitations, but then our budget got slashed. I talked it over with my husband, and we both agreed that because all of our guests have Email and are proficient online, that we would just invite them via the internet. We have used Evite in the past for other events, so we decided to use Evite to send out of invitations. It was great to use this as it was not only free, but easy! Plus, we could see right away who was coming, who wasn't and who still needed to RSVP!

I went to the PWG Bridal Show, and I had lots of fun! It was great to see the different dresses at the fashion show, and I really enjoyed being able to walk around and interact with the vendors. Plus, it was great to sample free food and get lots of free stuff! Be aware though that when you go to a Bridal Show, expect to get LOTS of mail afterwards!

My sister and best friend (Maid of Honor and Bridesmaid) got their dresses from Discount Bridal as they both live out in St. Cloud. They looked so beautiful in the dresses that we selected. They both had no issues or problems with the store, and both agreed that they received great service!

My beautiful dress came from David's Bridal. I originally wasn't going to wear the typical wedding gown and just purchase a really nice dress from like JC Penny or Nordstrom, but my dress was a birthday gift from my husband, best friend and our parents. I had so much fun at David's Bridal! My consultant was such a doll! She was so friendly, always had a smile on her face, and brought me so many beautiful dresses to chose from. She was also so very honest with me, which I really appreciated. I never once felt rushed or pressured from her. They have so many beautiful dresses there, so definitely stop in to see if they have your dress!
