Don't let the distance fool you, this photographer offered me great rates, he didn't charge for distance (he enjoys traveling), he made the bridal party and myself feel at ease, and took very creative shots. The best part was, at the end of the night he handed my groom 3 dvds full of all of our pictures, not watermarked so we can do as we please with them, the same night!! Also, by the time we had returned from our honeymoon, he had us a website up with 600 or so of his favorite pictures for family to see. He handed family the cards with the site on it throughout the night. He didn't, however, get shots of a lot of people at the wedding, which, granted, I didn't specify, but a lot of shy guests didn't have any photos taken. I fully believe if I had specified though, that would have been taken care of also.

Of course, Zales provided impeccable service. One thing hasn’t left my thoughts though… when I took the ring to be sized, they gave me a pickup receipt that included the original price of the ring. Call me old fashioned- but as the bride, I didn’t want to see that.

After staying at Sandals I hope to never stay at a non all- inclusive resort ever again. I was worried at the airport how I would find the employee from Sandals to take us to our resort, would he be holding a sign? That should have been of no concern, Sandals had their own section of the airport with plush couches, beer on tap and sandwiches. My husband and I were so impressed, we didn't notice the people around us continuing to change, but the manager did. He said nobody should wait over 10 minutes and instead of making us wait for another bus, took us in his mercedes to the resort himself. The trip only got better from there. Beware, though, when sending in a copy of your invitation to get the honeymoon package - we didnt follow up and we didnt get our rose petal service and other goodies until the last night, after multiple trips to the front desk. That was minor compared to the rest of the week.

This tranquil spa allowed my bridal party to select our own music while we were getting ready, and offered us free drinks including mimosas! They stayed open late and let us have the place to ourselves. I brought in pictures of what I sort of wanted, but wasn’t picky, and they blended the looks into one great one.

I was at first hesitant to use a makeup artist, but decided last minute it was worth the money, and I was right. Apparently they use professional makeup meant for cameras, and it looked great and upheld the summer heat. However, on several family members' cameras, you could see the foundation/ powder. But on the photographer's professional camera, the makeup looked great. In-person, the makeup gave me a flawless finish.

The hotel was eager to talk to me once I mentioned mass hotel bookings, but they didn’t offer a discounted rate, nor were they able to provide me with local party bus rentals. The late night groups looking for outings after the wedding were repeatedly bothered by security.

Shannon DJ's as a side job for fun which at first worried me, but she had everyone dancing and played exactly what I wanted. When I told her obscure artists she had never heard of, she got me every song I wanted to hear, she even showed up at the rehearsal the night before to scope the place out, and ended up staying and helping my family set up. Her price was less than half of that of any other DJ I looked up, and several engaged friends at the wedding are using her for their upcoming weddings.

Small and intimate company allowed me to be able to ensure I was talking to the same person each time I called. Our guests repeatedly commented on how good the food was (I couldn't tell you; I barely ate). We hadn't discussed a lot of what I expected- being that I was a laid back bride- until the day of, but I didn't have anything to worry about, they went above and beyond, cutting and serving cake and not charging to stay late to do so.

A very tiny company with only four employees, gave us the attention and answers we needed. I wanted an alternative cake topper, which they found and ordered for me at no charge. I cannot wait until our 1 year anniversary so I can eat the top!

I got the perfect dress from Davids Bridal, and the tailoring was on time and better than I could have imagined, however, aside from the tailor, the staff was less than friendly, but not until AFTER I had bought my dress. I was minding my own business trying on dresses for a simpler version of my wedding dress for an after party, when an employee came up to me - while she had another customer in tow - suggesting the size I picked out was too small. Without my having asked her, and a week before my wedding. Luckily I was able to prove her wrong. :)

Buying the dress was a pleasure, but my needed return visits were not so much.

I also had my bridesmaid's purchase their gowns from this location. Super fast shipping, looked great with the groomsmen's matching vests.

David's Bridal's color-matching vests literally made the color scheme at my wedding. They did a thorough job and following up with the groom to notify him who still hadn’t gone to get their tux a week before the wedding, to ensure nothing was overlooked.
