We booked Sarah for Wedding Day Management. The first time my (then) FI met with Sarah, he walked out and stated “I don’t know how much we’re paying her but it isn’t enough!” That was very true! Sarah allowed me to enjoy the day without stressing over the details. She also made it so that my family and other guests (all from out of town) could come and merely be guests and not have to work or be asked to help out.

We not only used Best for the Bridal Party Transportation, but we also used them to shuttle our guests from the Sheraton to the Jewel Box and then to the Reception. We had their Taxi Stand at the end of the night to get folks safely back to the Sheraton. The transportation was a hit with our guests! It was great that no one had to worry about a designated driver. Best was also great to work with as we tried to figure out how to coordinate it all.


The Zoo was a great venue for our reception. It had the atmosphere of fun that we wanted and Jason Moder was great to work with. The food was fantastic. We didn’t have a lot of guests (ended up at about 80 people). The Living World was perfect as we could have cocktails upstairs and dinner and dancing downstairs. It allowed space for folks to get away from the crowd if they wanted without having to leave the party. When I first submitted the deposit and contract I got a call from someone at the Zoo who was concerned that it was such a large space for our group (estimated then at 125). She was concerned that we’d feel lost in such a large space. We couldn’t have been happier with the space or the service. It doesn’t hurt that their prices included the cake and you don’t have to pay tax!
 


We were absolutely thrilled with Kelly! She was great to work with for our engagement pictures, she was patient and answered all my questions in emails promptly and she was fun to have with us on the day of our wedding. When we got our pictures, we were so impressed and every page of the album had us exclaiming “that’s a great picture!” Our friends and families have also been impressed with the pictures.
 


With all the groomsmen being from out of town, this was a great choice. Everyone was able to get measured at a local-to-them store and pick up in St. Louis. They were also able to make any needed alterations without causing a panic. All the guys looked stunning!

We ordered our custom designed, matching wedding bands from deSignet’s. We did visit their storefront, but only because we were in the area. They have multiple goldsmiths on staff and were able to design a ring pattern for us that included our initials and a celtic knot woven together.

This website was easy to work with and had multiple examples and samples of wording choices. I was able to proof and re-proof before we had things printed. By using them we were able to include more parts to our invitation (reception card, RSVP card) that we could not afford when looking at custom made or invitations from a store-front.

Our cabin was great! We were able to hide out and recover from a week of wedding craziness! The only glitch we ran into was it was a bit difficult to find the cabin the first night. We enjoyed being able to hide from the world if we wanted, but we were close enough to town to do some sightseeing and dining out when we wanted. 
 


Hotel Block: It’s not the newest hotel on the block, but we were there just as they were finishing up renovations. Not only did all our guests stay here, but we had a hospitality suite for our guests throughout the weekend. We picked this hotel after my brother used it in 2003 with success. It was nice to have a hotel with a free airport shuttle and so close to the Metro line.

Jim was great to work with. I wanted a particular song to surprise my new husband and he tracked it down and even sent me a copy to ensure it was the right version. He was able to read our crowd and kept the dance floor hopping all night. He wasn’t cheesy and didn’t talk a lot, which we wanted.
