Let me tell you how upset I was when I found out to get real flowers for bouquets for the girls they where $50 each. And let me remind you, you CANNOT bring the flowers back on the ship. I decided to make my own bouquets which where more than reasonable and looked beautiful without guessing and hoping what they would look like. I would have otherwise spent $250 on flowers for about 10 minutes that would be thrown out before you got back to the ship from the ceremony site.

I would not invest in flowers in the island unless you absolutely love flowers, but Im not a flower kind of girl, and my bouquets are exactly what I wanted without paying $50 each for 5 bouquets.

The first time I went to David's bridal in July 2007I had a decent experience. The girl who worked in Middletown NY, gave me all the things in dresses that I liked, and helped me to narrow down what I liked. I came back about 3 months later, to try on some more and hopefully narrow it down more, maybe purchase a dress. She told me she was relocating to Spring Valley NY to become a manager, I was slightly unhappy because she had done such a good job the first time I went. She helped me put on the dresses, told me how things should fit and so forth.

Three months later in October 2007 I went back to Middletown's Davids Bridal. I had the world's worst associate ever. I had made this appointment months in advance and she treated me like I came in that day to try on dresses. She treated me like it was an inconvenience to be in there. Not to mention she wasn't helping me to put on dresses, such as the corset back ones that were difficult to put on. She was suggesting things that where god awful and nothing I wanted. Then at the end when I kind of decided the dress I liked, says "well how would we like to pay for that today?" as if she'd done a fantastic job at selling me a dress I picked out. She even suggested to me that I should get a size larger because she didn't think it would fit even though the 6 I had tried on fit and with space. The seamstress in the store came out and kind of scolded her and told her no way to stick to the 6. This woman was the worlds worst bridal/sales consultant!

Then after all of this in January of 2008 my mom decided to get the dress for me after about 30 more harassing annoying calls from Davids asking me when I was coming in after they've known my address to live 4 hours away from Middletown. So my mom takes the instock dress without giving her any information as to how it has be held up since the quality of in-stock dresses diminished. Shortly after my mom told Davids not to call me because she wanted to make the dress a surprise when I came home in February of 2008. Moreover they spoiled it and called me and I instantly found out. My mother then called David's to scold them after she told them not to call me.

Terrible experience, I would NEVER go to David's again. I would rather shop in a small store, I would even go to Macy's or Lord and Taylor if I had to, but NEVER to David's again.
