Jan was great to work with for my makeup trial. I looked completely glamorous and received many compliments.

They just did a huge renovation of their ballrooms. Both look absolutely beautiful. We worked with Sandy, and she is absolutely wonderful! I knew we would be well taken care of after talking to her about things we wanted, and what they could do for us.

The location has good and bad points. The hotel is hard to see from the road, but once you get there, the view is gorgeous. Located off Lake Kittimiquandi in Columbia, there are wonderful spots for outdoor photos.

For our tasting, the chef made us hungry for more! We can't wait to eat!

I ordered my veil from Veilshop.com for a lot less than getting it from a Bridal Shop. It's a 2 layer petite fingertip length with satin cord. It came with a metal comb attachment, and looks great. I'd highly recommend going to this online store. They were very easy to work with, and had fast shipping!

This Bridal shop is conveniently located in The Kentlands. We have noticed a few odd things about it though. Their hours are random at best. My bridesmaids went to be fitted for dresses, and they had decided to close early for a company Baby Shower. We ordered in August, and were given a ship date of Sept. 17th. As of today (September 26), only 1 dress is in. The staff is sort of flighty about pretty much everything, so we're getting concerned that things won't arrive correctly.

We found Rabbi Feshbach by "Googling" Jewish weddings officiant! He has an entire packet online about the pieces of a Jewish ceremony, and his views on certain parts of the tradition and service. When we went to speak with him, we were instantly comfortable. He will perform ceremonies for mixed religious couples, as well as civil "committment" ceremonies for gay couples. We appreciated his friendliness and his flexibility.

This cake was SOOO good! The shop looks a little iffy - it's a shed in her backyard, but what amazing cake! My Dad asked for seconds! Very easy to work with, and creative too.

A little more than I expected to spend on my wedding gown, but totally worth it. I'd heard a lot of bad reviews of Mary's, and decided to check them out myself. I'm so glad that I did. I worked with Dorothy, who I highly recommend, and we walked through the shop looking at gowns. She was so helpful in explaining the fabrics, and she really had an idea of what would look good on my body type. They have hundreds, maybe thousands of gowns in the store, and while the dress I bought was not on display, Dorothy's knowledge of stock and ability to "see" what would look best on me was extremely helpful.

If you're looking for a bargain, this isn't the place for you to go. The owner, Mary, can be abrasive and snooty. If you go in to the shop with this knowledge, you'll have a much better experience!
