I was married at The Sunset Restaurant on August 27, 2006. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat. Anyone who wants a beach wedding should definitely check The Sunset out! :D

We wanted a beach wedding and this was the perfect location! We are so happy we had our wedding at The Sunset. The ceremony was on the beach (The Sunset takes care of all permits, which is so nice!), the cocktail hour was in the lounge and on the patio, and the reception was inside, facing the beach with full ocean views. It’s a beautiful (classy, yet beachy) location and perfect for anyone who wants a beach wedding. The food and drinks were so good, too! A lot of people came up to me that night to tell me how much they loved the food. During the planning stages, Kelly Ann was wonderful to work with. Everything we wanted was taken care of and the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch! I would recommend this location to anyone who wants a beach wedding.

About the beach being crowded for the ceremony:
We were married there in August and this was not an issue at all. The Sunset has a permit for this part of the beach. Everything is set up accordingly and we had no issues with space or anything like that. People were extremely respectful and did not bother us in the least. Our pictures, in fact, do not even show other, random people in the background. It's a big beach and the beach-goers really steered clear of us. I would not worry about that at all. If you want to have your ceremony on a beach, this really is a great location and so easy since you do not have to worry about getting permits, setting it up yourself, etc.

This band is amazing!!! So many people came up to us to tell us what a great band we had. They sound great and really get people up and dancing. They are definitely not a typical cheesy wedding band! They are classy and fun and played everything from Sinatra to Coldplay and Mowtown to current radio hits. We wanted a big party and that’s what we got thanks, in large part, to this band. Anyone who is looking for a great band must call West Coast Music and James Gang Encore!

West Coast Music has a bunch of different types of bands. James Gang Encore is not the only one.

I used them for chiavari chairs and the chairs looked great! They arrived on time and were set up perfectly. Royal wasn’t very good with communication. It took them a long time to return phone calls and at one point they could not find my order. But, in the end, the chairs were there on time and they looked fabulous! Royal was also very reasonably priced. The cheapest chiavari chairs I could find! I am so glad that I chose chiavari chairs. I was debating it because of the price, but they did look so good with the linens… it really completed the look! If you are debating getting chiavari chairs, I would recommend contacting Royal, since their prices are extremely reasonable. (And negotiate the price!!!)

She does wonderful work. She is very nice and has good ideas regarding script styles, colors, etc. I used her for both save the date envelopes and our invitations (inner and outer envelopes). My envelopes all looked great – especially the invites! She made minor mistakes on 3 envelopes, but she quickly fixed them. I would highly recommend her and plan on using her again in the future.

The linens looked SO good! They were very helpful when I was trying to decide. They gave me different options and let me take samples so I could try them out with my florist. They shipped them directly to my coordinator and they arrived in plenty of time. I was so happy that I chose them.

Wow! I am so glad that I hired Christina! I don’t think I could have made it through the day without her! Before the wedding she confirmed with all of my vendors and did a very extensive timeline that she also gave to each vendor. She coordinated my linen rentals and was so helpful with all the little questions I had! She also coordinated the rehearsal and took everything (programs, menus, guestbooks, etc, etc!) to the venue on the morning of the wedding. She set up all the placecards and made sure that everything was in place, exactly how I wanted it. She was there throughout the entire ceremony and reception and made sure everything went according to plan (which it did!) She was highly organized and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is considering hiring a coordinator. She made the day run smoothly and I did not have to worry one bit about anything!

They played for the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. We did not attend the cocktail hour, as we were taking pictures, but we got a lot of compliments on the string trio. During the planning of the wedding they were easy to work with and very organized. They played all of our requests, too! I would recommend them.
