I just attended a wedding at Trentadue Winery -- it was a stunning setting. Our good friends got married there, and it was such a gorgeous backdrop with the mountains in the background. Also loved being close to the vines, and truly feeling like you were at a winery. There was a nice flow of space (indoor and outdoor) -- the ceremony was outdoors on one side...then we moved to the other outdoor space for cocktails/apps...and finally moved inside for dinner and dancing. The event space comfortably fit 150 guests (I believe they can fit many more). The only downside is that the wine isn't the best, but overall, the wedding was so lovely we didn't even really notice.

I found Naugi randomly when searching for hair ornaments. I ended up purchasing the "Cece Back Piece," pictured above -- it was $80 (not the cheapest) but held up well and looked beautiful and subtle under my bun. They do have many choices that range in price, from as low as $25 to as high as $300. Their delivery was speedy and the piece came in a nice box. Overall I was pleased with the experience. They also carry veils and jewelry.

Atelier Des Modistes is great for those seeking a total custom experience. Suzanne is SO sweet and she runs a tiny shop with exquisite designs. You can try on all of these different silhouette options (tops and bottoms) to put together a custom look. And since everything is designed in house you can add whatever details you want.

Our friends had a really good experience with Mandy and I met with her before choosing my florist. She's really sweet and does beautiful arrangements! And she is good at sticking to whatever budget you ask her to. Her shop is really cute and she seems to be really detail oriented. She also did an amazing job on an arrangement I sent to my friend after she had her baby.

I used Jill, who owns Sublime Salon -- she was really sweet and did a fantastic job on my hair. I went to three different trials with other salons and was ultimately frustrated b/c no one would get the look right -- Jill got it on the first try! My hair was secure all night, through lots of dancing. She also did a great job on the moms and helped most of my bridesmaids. She was also nice enough to let the bridesmaids borrow her equipment to do their own hair. She came on location, which was also a great help (and more relaxing). I recommend Jill and I also highly recommend getting ready on location rather than trying to travel around to appointments on your wedding day!

An Elegant Touch of Strings did an excellent job as my ceremony and cocktail hour string trio. When I was walking down the aisle I didn't even hear the music, but I watched my wedding video and they sounded great! They were reasonably priced and very professional. I chose my music from their demo cd (which gives you a taste of what they will sound like) and was overall very satisfied!

I used Rita Brown as my wedding makeup artist and now I consider her a friend. She was one of my favorite vendors! She did a gorgeous job on me, my mom and my husband's mom and even found time to help the bridesmaids touch up their makeup. The moms are difficult to please so you know she did a good job when the moms are singing praises! She has a GREAT eye for color and really made me feel so beautiful! She works at the Fillmore Shu Uemura retail location, but she is a principal makeup artist so she actually travels a lot to teach and do guest appearances. She gives free trials at the Shu Uemura store, but you do have to purchase $50 worth of merchandise. Then, she can come on location to do your makeup (or you could go to the store). She was there on time, came with SO many different options and executed perfectly. My makeup didn't budge ALL night! She is fantastic, use her!

We had our day-before welcome cocktail, wedding ceremony & reception, and day-after brunch at the Four Seasons. We found the staff very welcoming and gracious. The venue itself is sleek and modern and we liked our bridal suite, which was really spacious and beautifully decorated. We had a great tasting (though the execution at the wedding wasn't quite as good as the tasting -- it's tough to cook for 230 and get the same quality as cooking for two!) and I thought that the cake was beautiful & delicious (we just showed them a picture and they nailed it). We did have a few complaints -- first of all, their AV is quite expensive (we brought our own wlide projector but if we had used theirs it would have cost the same as buying a brand new projector!). And, somehow, even though we explicitly asked them to transfer our reception flowers to the day-after brunch, the flowers were never transferred. And instead of apologizing, they said our guests took the flowers -- you can ask every single one of my guests...the flowers were NOT taken. Overall, a pretty good experience, but not necessarily worth the high cost. Considering how much we ended up spending there, we thought we might be more wowed by the whole experience.

We used Alicia for day-of coordination and had a GREAT experience! She was really organized and easy to work with. For the day, she was really more like a personal assistant since most details were in order. For example, she helped organize our placecards and programs and even thought to neaten up the bridal suite when we were done getting ready. She was really thoughtful and made me feel at ease. All of my vendors thought she was so pleasant and we heard lots of compliments. She is also quite reasonable for day-of coordination ($500 for 8 hours) -- please contact her for other rate information.

Andy Hirsch of Blue Moon Productions is a joy to work with! Both my husband and I were REALLY impressed with his professionalism. He was really kind, soft spoken and discreet when videotaping our wedding -- exactly what we were looking for. We just got our video, which was edited extremely well. He adds artistic touches so you feel like it is a real movie. This is his own business so he takes pride in his work. I think it was really worth it to choose someone who gave it a personal touch and wasn't just a big videography company. He captured everything so well (he used two cameras and operated them by himself) and he made me laugh and cry throughout the video. HIGHLY recommended!
