We got married in Manhattan Beach so conviently a majority of our guests stayed at The Portofino Hotel, as well as my husband and his family. The service was friendly and accomodating. The views from the rooms are beautiful and its proximity to restaurants and the beach are prime. My in-laws also hosted a brunch the morning after our wedding at the hotel. Since our wedding many guests have returned to stay there because they enjoyed it so much.

We spent our week long honeymoon at the Grand Wailea Resort. We stayed in a garden view room which was fine since we spent our days at the beach and pools. Our room was very pretty, clean and comfortable. We loved lounging at the Hibiscus Pool where we ordered drinks poolside and enjoyed a cabana massage. We felt the staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose to stay at a resort because we wanted to have restaurants within walking distance! We enjoyed several of their restaurants but enjoyed breakfast up on the balcony overlooking the fountains the best!

I ordered favors for both my wedding and most recently my sister-in-laws wedding. I was very pleased with the selection as well as the prompt delivery of the items I ordered. I think that the products they feature are adorable and much more high class than the typical party favors.

Nisie is an artist and created the most exquisite flower arrangements for our wedding. The staff at the Enchanted Florist are VERY organized and experienced in floral design. Nisie listened to what we were looking for and created exactly what we wanted. From the wreaths welcoming guests in, to my bridal bouquet to the table centerpieces every detail was thought of. On the day the flowers were fresh, the colors were crisp and arranged just as Nisie said they would be. It was a pleasure working with Nisie and the rest of the staff at the Enchanted Florist. I highly recommend them!

We selected Verandas for our wedding because not only is it beautiful but we could have our ceremony and reception at the same venue. Our wedding was a dream...we did not worry about a single thing. The wedding planner not only gave us a list of preferred vendors but followed up with the selected vendors to create a spectacular day. The best thing about Verandas is that the food, decor, tables, chairs, and speaker system is already in place.

The garden was an intimate setting to exchange our vows and the view of the ocean from upstairs was just what we were looking for. Our guests had a fantastic time and are still commenting on what a fun wedding we had. Many friends went on to serve the famous mash potato bar at their weddings that followed!!!

As for faux grass...that must be new as the garden did have real grass when we had our wedding.

We had a summer wedding and wanted our cake to taste like a strawberry shortcake. Our four tiered white cake with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting was delicious! I did give them a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like...very simple button design down one side of the cake. The buttons looked like the back of my dress, and the flowers the florist added made it beautiful. Ask lots of questions and bring pictures of what you are envisioning since different ingredients make for different cake looks, for example fondant vs. buttercream!

Our cake was delivered on time and set up on a pretty silver stand just as I had asked for.

The end result was fine, all the guys looked great. The day before the wedding however was very frustrating. Out of the seven tuxedos we ordered the grooms tux and my fathers tux were not correct! The salesperson told me when I called that "this is how it goes with tux rentals." Not only did I feel her comment was rude but if all you do is rent tux's why is it so hard to get it right???? We were fitting six men and my ring bearer all of whom lived in different places. If at possible keep the group together and make sure the men know what the tux is to look like. No one wants to deal with more than picking up tuxedos the day before the wedding.

I found Mon Amie to have a large selection of gowns and accessories. I really enjoyed that the store was divided into three sections based on price. This way I didn't try on a gown that was out if my price range. I found the most beautiful gown and then met a jewelry designer during a trunk show and had all my jewelry custom made. The process was smooth from trying on, purchase to fittings. I LOVE my gown and only wish I could wear it again!

We were very happy with our DJ from DJ's to go. He was on time, very friendly and polite with guests and did a fantastic job keeping the flow of the evening. I gave four stars because the ONLY thing that bummed us out was that the song that we selected for our introduction (which had a ton of meaning for us) would not cue up. Of course our guests had no idea and our DJ knew ahead of time since he was checking everything before cocktails began. Overall we were very satisfied with our experience.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from Bella Bridesmaid. We (my bridesmaids and I) enjoyed the experience of shopping for and fitting the dresses in the adorable little shop. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciated how well they managed coordinating five girls even two that lived out of the area.
