Hiring Karen was the best decision I made about the entire wedding. I contacted her just a few weeks before the big day, with a tiny budget, and she was considerate and helpful, adjusting her services to fit my means. She thought of things that hadn't even occurred to me, helped me stick to a timeline and contacted all the vendors to make sure they knew what they were doing ahead of time. Before the wedding, she drove several hours round-trip to pick up our flowers and pedestals from our florist. When disaster struck with the cake, Karen fixed the problem by finding a way to make it work. On the day, things that could have gone wrong went smoothly because she acted quickly and professionally at all times.
But what I really liked the most about Karen was that she felt more like a friend than a wedding planner. She has a great personality, is really sweet and made a big impression on my parents and all the other guests, who had nothing but nice things to say about her after the wedding.
I'll be forever grateful for the difference she made to our wedding. Even my mum agreed that without such a great wedding co-ordinator, certain things that happened could have ended in disaster. I didn't budget for a planner / co-ordinator and didn't think I would need one, but I was completely wrong. Thanks for everything Karen!
