I had a great experience with Mon Amie, they were very courteous and professional and let me try on dress after dress. They are definitely on the pricey side and I'm sure if I would have kept looking, I could have found my dress cheaper somewhere else, but hind sight is 20/20. I did not do my alterations at Mon Amie, however, they are very expensive on that end. I used Janet Brunton instead.

We used Jason as our DJ and he also did our lighting for us, both at a very reasonable price. He was great, kept the guests dancing and everyone had a great time. He spent a lot of time with us before the wedding to really find out what we wanted our reception to be. We gave him a playlist and he stuck to it and complemented it with similar songs. He was never cheesy and kept the reception moving. The lighting was beautiful as well and helped the atmosphere. Both me and my husband had a blast dancing. I would highly recommend him for a wedding or even just a large party. He was even on Platinum Weddings as the DJ in one of the weddings featured!!!

My wedding was on a Sunday so Jennifer actually opened the salon for me and brought in 2 extra girls to help and Trish does the makeup. I truly loved everyone's hair and mine stayed perfect thruout the wedding and reception (even with some serious dancing!!!). I didn't have to touch up my makeup once. I was a little stressed because she was late getting started but it worked out ok once everything got going. I have also seen other brides have their hair done there when I have been in for just a haircut and have seen other examples that Jen does GREAT work.

Photography was high on my list of priorities and I wanted more of a photojournalistic style. We had 2 photographers and they took many many candid shots as well as some posed ones. The photographers were both great to work with from the beginning, they weren't intrusive. We were incredibly happy with the pictures so I can't wait to see the finished book. The people at Harvard are all great to work with, they never tried to push anything on us. Everything they promised, they have delivered so far and in such a pleasant way. I will update my review once that is in.

UPDATE:
We just got back our wedding album and they are amazing!!! We got our big one and 2 smaller parent replicas, all which came with our package. I cannot rave enough about Harvard. Working with them has been great, they are extremely nice and very professional. Everything they promised us they delivered and in good time too and we are extremely happy with their work.

The Crowne Plaza was amazing. We had both our rehearsal and our reception there. Our guests raved about the food at both the reception and the rehearsal dinner. The room was set up beautifully, and the staff was great. The coordinator is Julianne and she was so wonderful throughout our whole planning process. We had a lot of guests coming in from out of the country and all around the U.S and she helped me get everyone situated at the hotel and took care of any special requests and reservations issues right away. Plus, I was a pain and emailed her every other day but she always helped me out with whatever I needed. I really can't think of one thing that I didn't like about the place, I just remember that I had a blast!!!

We did our chair covers thru Lifetime as well as the backdrop for our sweetheart table. I loved the way it turned out and they were very reasonably priced. The only drawback is that they have a large percentage as deposit so be very certain when you book them.

Allison is so great!!! I had a hard time visualizing what I wanted but when I described our wedding, colors, etc to Allison, she created the PERFECT flowers and still kept the prices very very reasonable. I almost jumped up and down when I saw my bouquets. The church was done beautifully too with tulle and small bouquets at the gatherings. For our reception, we had just gotten the cake that came with the package but Allison made it look incredible with flowers that matched the bridesmaids bouquets. Our centerpieces were simple blue dendrobium orchids but our guests were clammoring to take them home. Can't rave enough about Allison, plus she is such a nice person to work with.
