We contacted this company that we found on craigslist.com and they seem like an excellent company. We ended up not booking them because we decided to go with a horse-drawn carriage instead but their limo prices were excellent. In some cases for a 10-passenger limo it only costs $100/hr. The only downfall is that from my understanding, they only have two limos- one seats 10 and on seats 8. So that was also one of the reasons we decided not to book them. We were interested on two limo (one for 8 bridesmaids plus bride) and (one for 8 groomsmen plus groom) but they could not accommodate us. But it’s a great price for someone just needing one limo or a bride on a budget!
This is a great resource for brides! I signed up for their e-zine and their ideas and suggestions are incredibly helpful! They keep me updated on contests, budget-help, new ideas and more! There is even a question/answer section that a answers a lot of common questions that really help the planning process go smoothly. They also have reviews of popular bridal stores and vendors. I highly recommend that every bride, groom, and anyone else helping with the wedding check out the website and sign up for the e-zine as well! In addition to all of the other services and help they offer, every year they have their annual create a wedding dress out of toilet paper contest, and they fly the winners to new york to present them with $1000, $500, and $250 towards their weddings! Its fun to just go online and look at the toilet paper dresses because some of them are so incredible, they could be real!

We chose our favors through Oriental Trade. They have great bulk pricing and lots of different themes to choose from. All of the items we ordered are great quality and I feel like we made a great choice. They have a very large wedding catalog and offer lots of different things to purchase for your wedding! We did over 200 favors for less than $1 each which saved tons of money! We also found some decorations and balloons there for really inexpensive that were perfect for the bridal shower and bachelorette party. I am very pleased with our purchases and definitely recommend that other people getting married, order their favors (and extras) from Oriental Trading Company.

We toured this hotel and although the ballroom was gorgeous and my sister really wanted to get married there, it was definitely out of the budget. It is definitely not for the budget bride. In order to book the larger ballroom, you must order a minimum of $12,000 in food for the reception. That just seemed like an outrageous amount of money to me. We are having the whole wedding for that amount! The food choices weren't that extravagant that it seemed worth that much money. The hotel was beautiful though so if someone can afford it, it would make a gorgeous reception!

Patricia Ann is super nice! She sends out weekly emails with tips and contests for brides. We saw some of her work and were really impressed but in the end decided to DIY most of our wedding. I do recommend her to someone who needs the extra help though. We also entered a contest at Christmas-time through her company and won a set of champagne glasses! She has many opportunities like that to receive nice items for your wedding. She offers very reasonable "day-of" and "week-of" prices as well. Her website is www.thebridalstudiosa.com. They even have list of common problems that they were able to trouble-shoot on the day of the wedding that most of the bride and grooms never even knew about :) I highly recommend her!

We went to this venue thinking that the pictures were absolutely beautiful and we couldn't wait to see it! My sister and her fiancee were prepared to book on the spot. It turned out to be absolutely dreadful and disgusting! We were all so disappointed. The fee only includes the place. They provide someone to clean up the tables but the bride and groom are expected to stay after everyone leaves and put the tables away themselves the night of the wedding! Tacky! And in the advertisements it all looks very clean and beautiful. It looks like a gorgeous lake with a gazebo and reception hall. When we got there. It was a plain hall with a dirty pond in the middle of an RV park. Who wants their wedding pictures to have a dingy pond surrounded by RV's in the background? It was gross and extremely disappointing!

We used Tuxedo Junction for the groom and groomsmen. My brother was also one of the groomsmen so I was able to go with him when he got fitted. The people there are very nice and accommodating. My sister grabbed a duck at the bridal extravaganza and got a great deal on the tuxes (all under $50, groom free, one extra free, and free shoes). The people who work there are all very nice, especially over the phone. My sister had about a million questions and they were very patient with her and always answered them the best they could. The quality of the tuxes were excellent and all the groomsmen are very happy to be saving money compared to most tux rental stores.

I actually went to this shop with my sister to interview some photographers (there is a small studio in the back of the shop). While we were there, we decided to look around at invitations and save the date cards. They had some really cute stuff! In fact, my sister found an invitation there that inspired her to create her own that were similar to it. They also invitations for other types of parties- including bridal shower invitations and bachelorette party invitations. They had a great variety. The only downfall is that we walked around and no one even came out of the back to assist us. My sister found some save-the-date cards that she liked and she had to walk into the back where there were at least 5 employees sitting around talking and eating, just to ask what the cost of the items were. And--they were eating on the same table they were making invitations on! We felt like they were unprofessional but did think they had reasonable prices a great selection.

We went to Alfred Angelo to try on dresses and although the customer service was great, their selection of bridesmaid dress styles and colors were very limited. I tried on a few but I felt like they just weren't very appealing. We felt the same way about their wedding dresses. My sister did find a headpiece that she really liked so that was a plus. I do have to compliment the associates that worked their though. Even though there was a limited selection, they tried really hard to help us find something that they liked. The assistant manager-Sarah? I think- was very kind and helped us to at least find some dresses that were worth trying on. All-in-all in was a great experience but they just didn’t have the right dresses.

This was the first place that my sister and I went to try on dresses. Even though we had an appointment, it took them at least ten minutes to find someone to help us. The girl who helped us wasn't familiar with what dresses were available and kept leaving to go get something to drink. They were really rude and wouldn't let me go into the dressing room with my sister (I had to sit in chairs outside the curtain) and she made my sister really uncomfortable by taking off her bra to put on one that looked better with the dress, without even warning her that she was doing it first. They also don't let you take pictures there, which was a major turn-off when we couldn't look back to see which dresses we liked. We did not go back to this store. I also had a friend getting married and when I told her about our experience there, she said that when she went there, they ignored her for 20 minutes and then finally asked if she had an appointment. When she said no, they told her that you needed to have an appointment to try on dresses but that they didn’t carry dresses big enough to fit her anyways… she's a little overweight but not that big! I do NOT recommend this dress shop.
