Terrible customer service! I had my dress altered in April on her advice that in June she would be busy. It was ok. Not cheap, but quick and looked alright. In the course of time, I lost weight or something, and needed to have to dress re-altered. My boobs popped out when I lifted my arms and the dress sort of bulged in places. Took it back in. She charged me again, but I was sort of desperate so I paid. At the final fitting, the dress looked aweful! It was not symmetric and it was too low and too tight. Bernie the owner who oversees all the alterations, does the pinning, etc, claimed that it was in my head. The dress was uneven and cut too low on the boob. It pulled all over the place and pinched in the back. She said my stick ons were too high up. Um, no, they are supposed to cover some of the boob, the dress isn't suppsoed to show boobs! She said maybe it was hanging funny because my boobs were uneven/too small/the dress manufacturer made a mistake, etc, etc. Refused to take responsibility for her mistake and claimed that she never makes mistakes. This is the tip of the iceberg. I will never go back there again and am considering legal action.

So far so good. I was hesitant to go there because the price range they quoted me over the phone for their dresses was much higher than what I wanted to pay. I wound up going there anyway (after going to Mon Amie, Lili's, Pebbles, David's Bridal, and Camarillo Bridal, and browsing through MaryLinn's). The person who helped me is a seamstress and understood what I was looing for. The dress I decided on was too expensive for me, so the owner cut me a deal and marked it down 30% and I didn't have to pay tax. They were sooooo nice and seemed to really want me to be happy with my dress. It should arrive in about 2 months. BTW I had good experiences in all the salons I went to, except David's Bridal, just didn't find what I was looking for.
